No such thing as free healthcare

@melgibson7313 nope, not free. You are going to pay in some way.

@melgibson7313 what facts? From what sources? And now you admit it is not free?

Reading some of these comments by Mike's fans is rich. They are compassionate to addicts here, but when I brought up my struggles with alcohol I am ridiculed by Mike's fans

@elisawhitman8526 you can still get it. A reason why healthcare is so expensive in our nation is that many erceive care and do not pay.

@elisawhitman8526 in other nations people have died waiting for elective surgery. With elective surgery our wait times are lower and we have higher success rates. In Australia, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare around 10,000 a year die in Australia waiting for "elective surgery" where many are denied. " Tens of thousands of people die in this country each year because they can’t afford lifesaving surgeries and essential medicines." There is little to no evidence that is true. There is research done by by many with varying numbers. Stan Dorn did a study suggesting around 22,000 died. A Harvard study suggest around 45,000. Richard Kronick of UC San Diego suggests the number is very low, as in almost zero where he went into the study suggesting it was 10s of thousands but ended up getting "not the answer" he "wanted". Katherine Baicker of Harvard at the time suggests that there is low connection between access to healthcare and dying due to lack of healthcare. That those individuals are in poverty and they are typically in bad health to begin with. And on that last part, before you say that access to healthcare will improve their health, Baicker did a study in Oregon where she compared those who got expanded Medicaid and those who did not and she saw no improvement in physical health. So in short, you saying 10s of thousands die year due to lack of access to healthcare is a very flawed statement.

@palehorse7377 be careful. the guy you are responding to will just say things like "you are being disingenuous" or "why are you factually wrong on purpose" or "others told you many times that is not true". They won't provide any real argument. What you are saying is true. Medicare has more overhead cost and will end up costing more.

@palehorse7377 "The US spends more on healthcare per capita yet they far worse outcomes overall when compared to other" DeadlyMargiKarp223 said that to you. Now ask him for evidence and he won't provide any. He will just say either "you are ignoring facts" or "you are being wrong on purpose". Just watch.

@223Drone ok, now where is your evidence? I provided evidence from experts like Katherine Baicker and Richard Kronick. Meanwhile you provided nothing.
1
@page8301 how is it nonsense? Please explain? Your lack of an explanation will prove my point.
1
@page8301 yes it does. Thanks for admitting you do not know what you are talking about.
1
@melgibson7313 so I am confused, is it free healthcare or not?
1
@melgibson7313 what proof do you have I am lying?
1
@melgibson7313 what lies?
