  3.  @Boobalopbop  it is more complicated than that. Those European nations are one, much smaller, and two, have a different culture. If you look at the US and all throughout history we are a nation of people being independent and any government involvement would be at the state and local level. There is fear of the federal government overreaching with the idea of "free" healthcare.

  14.  @jgmediting7770  it did. Only two times did a depression take nearly a decade to recover from, that was in the 30s and in the mid 2000s. Both times saw major federal government action as well. In the 1920s a recession took place and at the time US Secretary of Commerce, Herbert Hoover, was asked to come up with a plan to fix that. A year later he did which involved a lot of federal government action. But since the economy started to improve the federal government did nothing and the economy boomed. In 1929 when the recession happened Hoover quickly installed his plan and the economy did not improve. FDR entered in and expanded it prolonging the recession. It took the war forcing FDR to focus on other things, along with the entire world being destroyed, to pull us out. Again, gain an education. So many talk about the great depression. Notice how a time like that have not happened since or before?

  15.  @jgmediting7770  it did not last that long. After FDR's death a lot of what he was doing was stopped. But nice ignoring all I wrote showing how hands off approach by the federal government works better and how the New Deal prolonged the recession.

  18. These two idiots are part of the reason why MTG exist. Not the main reason but the left has gone insane the past couple decades. When you have AOC, Maxine Waters, Pelosi, etc. with the democrats along with the media going insane the reaction is MTG. I don't like MTG but there are two points with her 1. As I said, she is a reaction from the action of the left 2. Her point on QANON, there have been so much misinformation out there that it is hard to decide what is true and what isn't. And thus, we get the mess we have.
