@cammybaby01 how so? AOC is not a lawyer, she is an ex-bartender. These justices know the law and know what to say. That is why many times in these hearings they go nowhere as the justices are careful in what they say and in many ways give non answers.

@cammybaby01 it does not mean it is established law. It just means it is important precedent. It can be changed. Plessy v Ferguson was important precedent that was overruled. So where was the lie?
3
@cammybaby01 actually not really. The 13th amendment was ratified in 1965. Plessy v Ferguson was in 1896. You criticize me when you don't know the dates on when those events occurred.
3
Ok, now who lied? And how?
2
@cammybaby01 they did not lie. They never once said they would not overturn Roe v Wade. Many court cases in the past have been overruled, it is common. The nominees are lawyers, and judges, and now justices. I bet they know a lot more than you do. They knew what they were saying. So again, where were the lies? They never said they would not overturn it, or rule on a different case to replace it.

@muuuuuud ok, so again, where were the lies? If the information is so basic you should be able to present it as opposed to deflecting.

@cammybaby01 My bad, that i was a typo where I put a 9 instead of an 8. Plessy v Ferguson was a court ruling in 1896. The 13th amendment was ratified in 1865. Slavery was illegal after the 13th amendment, but Plessy v Ferguson allowed separate but equal and was overruled in Brown v Board, nearly 60 years later. It still stands that you claim I should learn history when you do not know the the Plessy ruling came after the 13th amendment was ratified.
1
@cammybaby01 but please, tell me how the 13th amendment overruled Plessy v Ferguson when Plessy v Ferguson came after the 13th amendment.
1
@cammybaby01 guess what, AOC is not a lawyer either. She is an ex-bartender.

Mike is such a drama queen.

@let.itbleed you don't have a right to an abortion. Thus, via the 10th amendment, it is kicked to the states. That is the bottom line. We don't legislate from the bench, period. Roe v Wade did just that, and overturning it is the correct route. Now it is on the people to decide what is moral and what is not.
