@DSan-kl2yc almost impossible to predict the severity of the storm. The last F5 tornado in the US was in 2013. They rarely happen. As is 80 people, on average, die a year from tornados. Compare that to 40,000 deaths from traffic accidents. You have a greater chance of dying from a traffic accidents than a tornado.
Have you ever experience a tornado? I have. They pop out of nowhere. That is why 70% of tornado warnings are false alarms. You can say a storm can have the potential of a tornado, but you can't say it will.
So what you have it this. One, around 70% of tornado warnings are false alarms. Next, F5 tornados are rare. Again, last one was in 2013 in the US. Thus, most tornados cause little to no damage. The average death count is 80 a year, but that includes outliers where in 2011, in Joplin, MO 158 died that year from an F5.
I feel this issue should not be right wing or left wing. We should come together and help people. You are criticizing right wingers, but those on the left are doing what Mike is doing, blaming businesses and also many on the left are blaming climate change. So you say "right wingers" are being defensive, it is because the left is doing what they always do, politicize a tragedy.
