He doesn't fear monger about the vaccine. He is critical of the vaccine mandates and the strong push to get people vaccinated. I feel the same way. I am not scared of the vaccine. The new company I am working for is going to require it as we are partially contracted by the government. I am getting my first shot Sunday. I just oppose the massive push along with the fact there is no talk of long term, natural immunity and the fact this was never a pandemic to begin with.

@rdean150 what was the population in 1918? Also, covid deaths are vastly overstated. And you can't compare this to war. The typical death of war were men in their 20s. Men with potentially decades of life ahead of them. With covid, objectively speaking, almost all who died would have been dead in the same timeframe to begin with. If this is a pandemic we would not have to be reminded everyday about it, we would personally be seeing it with people dying on the streets, with young people dying at high rates. We are not seeing that. Many parts of the nation have been open for months with zero problems. So no, this is not a pandemic.

@rdean150 I do not deny long term impacts of covid that exists in some, but the key word is some. Many were infected prior to the vaccine existing, why do they have to get vaccinated? That is something I keep saying. Also, one thing I said is that if the vaccine does reduce the chance of symptoms and hospitalizations, and if you are vaccinated and become infected and still develop long term immunity, then we are done. Drop the masks, drop the mandate and we need to move one. Covid is over at that point. Also, as for long term effects, what was the overall health of those individuals to begin with? That has to be considered? I never said a natural immunity was the only strategy. As I said, if you are vaccinated, become infected and develop long term immunity, then the "pandemic" is done.

@Irodmel big difference. Seat belt laws do not deny me the ability to interact with society. Driving is a convenience, not a necessity. You can still interact with society without driving. With vaccine and mask mandates people are saying you cannot interact with society unless you wear a mask and take a vaccine. For example, I can walk to the restaurant and eat food without driving, thus seat belt laws do not matter. With the vaccine and mask mandates, some are saying I cannot go to a restaurant unless I wear a mask and vaccinated. Big difference. Also, the purpose of seat belt laws cover many points and were passed via legislation and not passed via mandates from unelected government institutions like the CDC and local health departments.

You have a price. I was not going to take the vaccine, but my new job requires it so I am taking it. I always felt the vaccine was safe, just felt this whole covid thing was stupid. However, with how much my new job is paying me I will take the vaccine and move on. I bet if paid enough you would take a covid test everyday.

@TheJrr71 where is the proof there are vaccine mandates at Fox? How does he lie? Saying no one will take him seriously does not mean he lies. Also, the exact quote was "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes." Which is true all around to be honest. One should always have skepticism with these political commentators. I never said Carlson never lies. When did I say that? Point to me where I said Carlson never lies. What I am saying is that all news networks do it, or exaggerate issues at the very least. So be fair here. I am not against the concept of vaccines. I am against the concept of mandating this novel vaccine that fails in a few months and how this vaccine has been pushed with so much information being left out such as natural immunity.
