It isn't so much hurting. What help are these kids receiving? Are they receiving proper counseling? Many of these kids arguably have a mental health issue. When you fail to see reality that is a problem.

Mike brings up suicide when suicide is a very complex issue. There are many people who have been well loved and supported in society and have committed suicide. With trans people there is an argument that they have a mental health problem where mental health issues is connected to suicide. And there is no evidence that gender affirming care actually prevents suicides.

@j0j0dartiste21 no, it is complicated. Especially here considering we are talking about mental health. Consider this, trans people are becoming accepted more in society but their suicide rates have not taken a significant, if any, dip. Explain that.

It isn't also what the left makes it out to be. To start, you say see a psychologists. I have seen a lot of psychologists and psychiatrists in my life with varying results. Some good some bad. I was given bad advice by many in my life. Next, there is little evidence that this type of care actually helps. Even with care the suicide rate is still the same overall. And there is an argument that these kids are suffering from a mental health problem.

@knavishknight it is not a logical fallacy. Again, many people in society that were accepted and well loved committed suicide. The fact is with suicide there are many factors at play, not just one. And mainly it is a mental health issue. When did I ever say I was a paid troll? I think I recall that point. I was on PTO from my job. I had a friend over and instead of going to work and coming home and doing these comments on the side while I do more work at home I hung out with her. The fact you feel people are paid to troll is sad. Besides, you don't have to believe that I have a PhD or not. Does not change the fact that I do, that i have a diploma that says I do. That I have business cards and a signature on my emails that says I do. That it landed me a high paying job.

Here, title of an article in the Lancet "Adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines and measures to prevent them" They say "The study showed that immune function among vaccinated individuals 8 months after the administration of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine was lower than that among the unvaccinated individuals. " Bet you won't hear that from the "follow the science" leftists.
