  3.  @maxxidle  we don't have the worse outcomes. We are number one in outcomes when it comes to advanced illnesses. Where we lack is that we are very expensive and people have a hard time getting basic care. But we excel in situations like cancer survival rates, heart disease survival rate, etc.

  5.  @Melpheos1er  there are many factors that influence life expectancy. For example, the US is number in obesity rate compared to other developed nations. So factor that in bud. We just had a president, who is nearly 80, become infected with covid and did just fine.

  11. The real part of the story is that she found out the baby was possibly dead. Doctors wanted a second test on it which is typical in a lot of healthcare situations. There is really nothing wrong here in the end, doctors are being cautious.

  14. The argument is that abortion can be considered murder. The other argument is consistency. In CA abortion lows are very relaxed, but if you kill a pregnant woman you can be charged with double homicide. Explain that.

  16. Looking closer this appears to be all show by a youtuber using her channel to push her political ideas. When asked who the doctor was she never named them. Next, she claimed to have found an abortion clinic in downtown Houston and when going there she was meant with anti abortion protestors. I live in Houston, there are no anti abortion protestors. I live by downtown, I can swing by tomorrow and check, but all I see, usually, and those protesting the abortion laws here in TX. This is all show.
