  3.  @rorydupuis8734  to expand. You can offer free college, but if the person using it has no desire to actually learn and develop a skill it becomes a waste. As in economics, if you are running a company and buy a brand new computer but never use it it becomes a waste.

  6.  @salomaogomes7311  it does. At the local level you have more control of the government and you can see if government is working for you. To some that is paying property taxes for a nice school in your community. You may not send kids there but the school looks nice as you drive by it and the kids are well behaved as opposed to skipping school and causing a mess.

  7.  @salomaogomes7311  actually federal taxes pay for very little that we see everyday. Roads, 3/4 of the funding is state and local. Schools, over 90% is state and local. Police, paid for locally. Same with firefighters where 70% of firefighters are volunteered. So your listed of schools, police, firefighters and roads is completely wrong as the federal government funds are very minute portion of them, if at all.

  12.  @xelasomar4614  education depends on the individual. Most issues in college can be self taught. The reality is that college is an investment. It pushes people to be self taught as opposed to spoon feeding people., You really need to rethink want an education actually is.

It really shows how leftists just listen to what others say as opposed to thinking for themselves.
