In fact, it is so rare Jussie Smollett had to make up a situation to try to make it seem like people like him are attacked. As I said, chances are this "boyfriend" goes about his day and is never attacked.

  4.  @UberNoodle  based on the many hoax hates that exist. The fact that I hear people say all the time that they are attacked for being black, gay, etc. but these same people have nice lives. I knew a guy who said he was discriminated in the chemistry department because he was black. Meanwhile, he received a PhD, received praise from members of the department and obtained a job very quickly. Fact is, these attacks are so rare that Jussie Smollet had to make up a story to try to push the narrative that he is attacked because he is a gay black dude. That is the level we are at now. Someone claims they are attacked when they are not. To me I do not know if they are making it up to push an agenda or it is really all in their head.

To me, when Jussie Smollett did what he did, and so many supported him at the beginning despite how unreal the situation was, it showed how delusional the people are. Trans people are not under attack. Those that think they are are delusional.

  18.  @kurisu7885  what sources? There are sources on both sides. Read up work by Paul R. McHugh. Also, there is a strong argument that trans people have a mental disorder. There is also little evidence that all these gender reassignment actually work. If I debated Oliver I can easily take him down as I am not a hack. I am not one sided.

Ok, now say you have a 16 year old girl who is 5' 6"who weighs 90 pounds and is aneroxic because she thinks she is fat. Do you think she has a mental disorder? Or will you allow her to get liposuction if she so desired?

  20.  @kurisu7885  how? Easy. In both cases someone is not accepting reality. A man who thinks they are a woman is arguably delusional . A 16 year old who is underweight but thinks they are fat is arguably delusional. "And for the record homosexuality was an still is argued to be a mental disorder, but people on your side no less." Not really. To start. I am a moderate. I am on no side. As a moderate I just find the left has gone insane in many ways. This is one issue they are very insane one. Next, homosexuality has been around for years. Certain sexual fetishes have been around for centuries. In fact, one can argue it is not normal or healthy for us to remain monogamous. "And I'm still trying to figure out how someone being trans effects you in any way." Because slippery slope. In the end gays wanted to get married, so it became where government must recognize gay marriage (really gay marriage was always legal, it just wasn't recognized by the government, but different discussion). Now it has led to we have a SC Justice that cannot define what a woman is. How far will this go? Will this lead the 16 year old underweight girl asking for liposuction ends up getting it? Instead of counseling we just give her liposuction? Same as how many doctors just quickly prescribe people with medication. The fact is the trans issue is complex. To completely ignore one side of the argument is a dangerous route to take.

  21.  @kurisu7885  who is banning what? Also, mental healthcare became more problematic when the federal government became involved with the Community Mental Health Act of 1963. What happened is that instead of states handling it, states just dropped it and let the federal government handle it all. Turns out that, as usual, the federal government under budget the program leading to less healthcare for people. Turns out the federal government, like usual, cannot take on these complex issues.

  23.  @knavishknight  I am saying that in both cases it is arguably a mental disorder. If you think you are fat but are clearly underweight, that is a mental disorder. If you are a boy but think you are a girl, that is a mental disorder. Seriously, your side will allow an anorexic person to get liposuction.
