Democrats are power hungry. They need Trump and covid to be around which is why they keep them around. Democrats need them around to say "look at republicans and how the mismanage covid" or "look at orange man bad" all to mask the fact that Democrats are power hungry and right now the nation is in a terrible situation under their control.

Actually, the hate and divide started from the left when Bush won. The democrats felt like Bush stole the election winning FL. The left did not freak out like they did during the Trump years because Bush was still a politician. Obama came into office and was very divisive with many comments he made, the constant blaming of republicans for the state of the economy, how Obamacare was handled with democrats locking themselves in a room by themselves, etc. Trump won made democrats mad as they felt it was Clinton's time. And with Trump not being a politician and had no filter, and was intelligent, it freaked out the left and they went insane.

@abby.m0124 the economy being in a recession was for many reasons. One, the recession did not start until democrats took over congress in 2007. Who controls the purse? Next, there were things beyond many politicians control such as the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates low, banks giving out loans to many who can't afford it knowing they will be bailed out. So no, Obama was wrong to blame the right for the economy. Him doing so was divisive. Trump is very intelligent. In fact, most of our politicians and leaders are. That actually makes them very dangerous at times as they can take advantage of useful idiots. But yes, we were in a recession when Obama took over. But to blame the right on that was divisive as there was way more to it than that. One can argue it was democrats because they took over congress before it started, and their ideas of everyone deserves a home no matter what their financial situation and thus people should get these loans regardless if they can pay can also be blamed.
