  2. SS did not expand freedom. Instead of me taking my money and investing it in a retirement fund that I choose, government forces me to invest in their program. What we have seen during the Trump years, and covid is that leftists like Mike will complain about big corporations, complain about the man, complain about corrupt institutions. But when things get tough he will run to those same people for help.
