Has Mike retracted his statement on the video where he said Lauren Boebert was an escort and had an abortion? That story ended up being not true.

They did not investigate until she tried to get an abortion. Why wait over 6 weeks? Also, the fact that the left is more concerned about this story as Roe v Wade being an issue when can still cross state lines (and get an abortion still in Ohio under exceptions in the law) as opposed to worrying about a 10 year old being raped by an illegal immigrant says a lot.

@223Drone where in the 4th amendment?
1
@223Drone do I need to cite another law to you like I did in another comment?
1
@223Drone it does not. Even if it did via due process you can have it taken away. Ever heard of a search warrant?

A few things. One, after many false stories people are skeptical. Next, consider this, she was raped and after 6 weeks no one was told about it? There was no investigation until it became political? That is odd. Why such the long wait. There are also exceptions to Ohio's abortion law where one can get an abortion "to prevent a serious risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman” which could apply here considering the young age of the kid. So there is still so many things that are unclear here.
1
@beneaththemarquee how is my argument bad faith? Ohio had exceptions in their abortion laws where they could have been applied here. It is ironic how they waited 6 weeks and 3 days, right after the timeline, to get the abortion. And in doing so then news of her being raped came out. Why not sooner? There are reports she told her mom about the rape sooner. And it is sad that the left is more concerned about the abortion situation and not her getting raped by an illegal immigrant?
1
@KG9551 how so? I find it disturbing she was raped to begin with. The left care more about the abortion issue.
1
@KG9551 in Ohio there are exceptions to abortion law if the woman's life is endangered. That applies here. Why didn't the doctor push for that? Also, this was known by the mother prior to 6 weeks, why the delay? And why didn't an investigation occur quickly when it was found out early on she was raped? This all seems weird to me. And this only became big news when she was seeking an abortion and the main talking point was that she could not receive one despite the lack of effort that of the doctor to try to work with the law. So who is being the fascist here? I feel it is the let that has no concern about the rape.
1
@FrozEnbyWolf150 no, I find the whole thing odd. Why didn't the doctor work with Ohio law as this was an emergency abortion where the woman's life was in endanger? it clearly was as she was 10. And why did the issue of rape come out 6 weeks later?
1
@223Drone "No there is isn't because she had to travel to another state to get an abortion. " Wow, what a convincing argument with zero citations and facts. I guess I should reconsider my life.
1
@223Drone read Section 2919.195 | Performance of abortion after detection of fetal heartbeat; penalty It is where I got my information. The actual law that is written. That is where the exception lies.

@223Drone now move along, the big boys are talking.

@asurakirin5628 it is very easy to argue that a 10 year old will have major damage in a pregnancy. The fact is the doctor and the girl never tried. And without trying the doctor went public about it. But even at that the fact she can get an abortion in another state proves the point of a lot of people on the right, you are free to go to another state and get an abortion if you want. Revoking Roe did not ban abortion nation wide. And the fact the let was so concerned about that and not the fact that a 10 year old was raped is alarming.
1
@therealivydawg you do know that you do not have a right to assisted suicide? Many states ban it. So as a man (whatever that is) you lack bodily autonomy rights as well.
1
@223Drone I literally cited you the law.
1
@223Drone 'You also ignore the fact that there are no exceptions for Ohio's abortion ban" There are “to prevent the death of the pregnant woman” or “to prevent a serious risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman” Right in the law.
1
@223Drone "a judge outright prevented her form having an abortion in Ohio" Which judge? Give me a name.
1
@choronos a few things. One, why did it take 6 weeks for info to get out that she was raped? Apparently her mothing knew early on, so why no investigation until this issue became pregnant. Next, Ohio does have an exception in abortion if the woman's live can be harmed. The would apply here due to her young age. Why didn't the doctor bring that up? It is weird that they waited 6 days and 3 weeks to try, and then an investigation into the rapist started.
1
Why did they wait 6 weeks and 3 days to announce she was raped? And Ohio law has exceptions for if the woman can be harmed. At 10 that is an easy argument to make.
1
To add, the fact that the left was more concerned about this being an abortion issue when she was still able to cross state lines and get an abortion as opposed to worrying about how a 10 year old girl got raped by an illegal immigrant shows the true values of the left.
