@PaleGhost69 Ok, you have 10 data points of 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 9, 100, 200, 4, 6. What is the average? 34. Ok, now what is the median? 5.5. Why? Because the numbers 100 and 200 skew the average. The median dictates the midpoint and values above and below them. So the quote is wrong. On the average, 8 values are below the average in the example I gave. On the median, 5 numbers, half of them, are below the median.
