@1985toyotacamry renewables are getting cheaper but are not there yet. Plus, to go full electric we need to upgrade the grid in a major way which is very challenging with no clear answer. Mix in the fact that nuclear is really the route to go but many people are scared of it for one, and other companies invested in geothermal, solar, wind, etc. will oppose creates major barriers.

@salomaoserra6432 water is not going anywhere. And what use is an electric car is there is no way to charge it because our grid is a mess?

@salomaoserra6432 we have plenty of water. Government intervention will make things worse. Most private companies are transferring to renewable energy sources as is including oil companies as that is how the market is flowing. Let the free market work and we will progress faster.

@User31129 6 to 9 pm is a peak point of power usage. Also it will be used during the day. To adjust many electric companies need to change their process. Also, the grid today won't handle it with major reform. Along with that what do you do with the dead batteries over time?
