  2. Define "just wages". Also, a problem is that these programs go too far. Right now the economy is doing well and many jobs that do pay well, as in around $15 to $20 an hour, can't hire enough because many people are leaving for higher paying jobs. Anyone with skills are moving up. Fast food places want to hire more but problem is that people with skills won't work there as they have better jobs, and those without skills simply live off of welfare. There are a group of people who are able to work but refuse even though there are jobs for them. That slows down economic growth.

  5. Government regulations is what led to the increase in healthcare prices. Adding more government is just going to make things worse. Universal healthcare will increase prices due to increase in demand. If you do price control healthcare providers will simply lower the quality. It is an economic fallacy to say that universal healthcare will save money. Consider these two points 1. If your boss asked you to work 20% more, would you not ask for more money? 2. If you boss cut you pay by 40%, will you still work as hard as you do now? Under universal healthcare one of those two cases would happen, or a mixture of both. Overall, it won't improve on the system we have now.
