I agree. Canada has gone insane with the covid restrictions that are not working. At some point people need to stand up to these covid restrictions. Canada won't let people in who are not vaccinated, so we need to stop them from doing business with the US.

@saraoswald4257 yes, we don't have the ability to change the rules in Canada. But we can place sanctions on them.

It isn't pro covid. It is pro freedom by being anti vaccine mandate. It is questionable if vaccine works and even so, if you are vaccinated why are you scared?

@hhiippiittyy many times necessary surgeries in Canada are postponed and end up being listed as "elective". ICU wards are always filled and there is always a shortage of healthcare workers. What we experienced under covid was never new, we just focused on it and made a big deal about it for political reasons.

@hhiippiittyy it has not changed. Almost all being hospitalized with covid had other health issues to begin with. They were of high risk of being hospitalized overall. One thing that did change was how they labeled what a covid patient/death was because of financial reasons. As we see now a good portion of those in a hospital listed as a covid patient are with covid, not for covid. But when listing for covid the hospital gets money. Same with dying with covid. If someone dies with covid it is listed as a covid death even though it could have been from cancer instead.

@hhiippiittyy in 2017 a city in CA had to put up tents for temporary ICU rooms because of the flu. ICU rooms being full is nothing new. In Canada people die waiting for "elective" heart surgery because of ICU rooms being full. That has always been the case.
