She isn't wrong. The idea of the 2nd amendment is to protect against a tyrannical government. When level that tyranny is to go to violence can be debated. But violence should always be an option.

@sr2291 I am not saying we are at that level, and neither is MTG. The point is that violence should always be an option. When we exercise that option can be debated, but it should be. You are making it seem like people like MTG, or someone like me that brings up violence as an option that should exist want to act now which is not true.

@ReverendFather_UncleRuckus several layers here. One, if the government were to nuke us they would be nuking their own land. Next, the army is made up of American citizens than can quickly turn their back on the politicians. Also, the federal government cannot use military to enforce domestic law without consent of the governors. Thus, if they were to use the military to attack citizens it would be an attack on the states dividing our nation and thus our military

Not Sure really, the left is smart enough to realize violence is a poor solution? What do you call the months of rioting by BLM and the fact that democrats promoted it?
