@xelasomar4614 you don't have a right to privacy. Even if you did with due process it can be taken away. For example, if you are a suspect for a crime the government can investigate you.

Instead of trying to improve that they push pointless bills. I am glad people voted against it. Marriage is not a right not a federal issue. Marriage is a state issue. "Gender affirming healthcare for children, which the Texas government is investigating as child abuse" Because it is child abuse in many ways. Like the right to travel, or the right to have children, or the right to own property." There is no right to travel, there is no right to have children, there is no right to own property. For example, I know someone who, according to state law, cannot drive a car. So they are denied their "right" to travel.

@brandonm949 many people are regretting voting democrats in 2020. Also, the 2020 election was highly suspect. It was rigged on the simple fact that democrats created mass chaos with covid and BLM riots. "If Republicans aren't against the stuff I mentioned before, why would they vote No on the bills to protect all of it? Wouldn't it be more effective to vote Yes so Democrats can't use the bills as a talking point?" You jus stumbled on the answer yourself. None of those bills would become laws as the SC will shoot them down for being unconstitutional. They voted no on them because it was federal government overreach on state issues. Democrats know this so instead of trying improve the economy they pushed those bills as a distraction basically saying "see, republicans want to ban gay marriage". It is political theater. Here is something, if republicans want to ban gay marriage, interracial marriage, etc. so bad why don't they push bills in Congress to do it?

Republicans are fine with state rights. When Roe was overturn many on the right were pointing out how it is legal in many states still. If that is what those people in those states want then so be it. .
