  14.  @patchwurk6652  because that would be the government dictating the market causing price increases and/or waste. I worked at Title I schools where kids were given free breakfast. By rule kids had to take one of everything. So if the items were a milk, a banana, and some hot breakfast like tiny waffles, the kids had to take one of each. If they did not want to they would throw it away. So, for example, if a class had 20 students the class would get 20 of each item. If 18 ate breakfast only 2 milks, 2 bananas and 2 waffles were returned. The rest were eaten or thrown away. So teaching kids to throw away food is good?

  15. Define a "living wage". Fact is these people are alive so they are earning a living wage. As for contraceptives, they are free in many cases, or simply don't have sex. It is about irresponsibility or lack of proper information. Sorry, but the onus is on you to be responsible.
