TheBeautybre2, where is the evidence they were there for only 2 minutes? Spoiler alert, there isn't any.
9
I had a friend die of cancer but I still live life. There are millions of ways to die, this is just one more. And based on the data the survival rate is over 99%, thus chances of death is low.
7
Ivan Varela, it depends on the Starbucks. If the Starbucks is busy the company can enforce a no loitering policy. They don't make money off of people mooching off of their internet. In large cities it is common to kick people out if they don't buy anything.
5
There is no increase. Look at the numbers and consider more testing. With protests being unpopular the media is switching back to this
4
Many companies do not accept loitering. Also, if it becomes too busy they can kick people out. You see this in larger cities as well. Now does this company enforce this policy all the time? We really can't say as this is the first time this has become public. But no one can say they haven't enforced it. So at that point we have lack of evidence. Also, the manager told them to leave, the cops told them to leave and they choose to be arrested instead. Based on the lack of evidence and the fact that the black men choose arrest when they were given the option to leave I smell SJW crying racism when there isn't any. Maybe this manager is racist. But based on the multiple times the political left and SJW cry wolf I have my doubts.
4
"Those men were there 2-3 minutes before she called the police" What evidence do you have of that? Where is the video with the time stamp? Look deep in this case, there is a lot of lack of evidence here. Them making things up has me questioning things.
4
Cases are starting to drop. Why not bring up those numbers?
4
@cbwavy the virus is showing not to be that deadly.
4
"Believe me, if those two men were 70 year old white women this incident never would have happened." How do you know? I will tell you this, if it did happen to two white men no one will hear about it as the media would not care. That is the issue. You have this one incident and the media really dig to make it look like we have an example of racism. However, with so much lack of evidence, and the fact that many SJW have cried wolf for so long, I have very high doubts here.
3
Sarah Scott, what proof do you have that they were there for only a few minutes?
3
There will not be a second lockdown. Stop trusting the media, there are no increases and deaths per day continue to drop where the recovery rate is increasing every day. The media is talking about this now because the protest turned into unpopular riots. They are distracting you.
3
@eduardoe4200 I listen to experts where more information is coming out that this virus is not that dangerous. Also, the CDC changed their stance many times on the virus.
3
Most states have it under control. They are mainly rural ones but they do. We are at a point where we can start discussing some ways to re-opening the economy. In doing so we need to trust people keep their distances still for the time being and if they feel sick to stay home. But the economy needs to be re-open in some ways. There are other things that can remain closed for now, like universities where classes can be taught online via zoom. But businesses need to re-open.
3
@hairlesschewbacca4621 you are correct. Trump was just a symptom of a disease. This nation was divided before Trump. All Trump did was expose it. He did it in that all these institutions have become radically politically left and defend democrats every step of the way. They bullied people on the right by shoving left wing ideas in their faces and calling the opposition names if they oppose. Trump bullied back which the left never been exposed to before. Over the 4 years it caused them to go insane. They call take over of city blocks in Seattle the "summer of love", BLM burning down buildings and killing people "mostly peaceful" over months time. But a one time event at Capitol Hill has them screaming bloody murder. If democrats and the left do not stop soon it will get much worse.
3
@sherriawine531 more people have died with pneumonia over the same time period but no one talks about that. The talks of the virus by the media is coming back because the protests went from racism and police brutality to socialism, CHAZ and riots. So the media has to divert attention elsewhere.
2
What attempt.
2
Doubt it. Come late July baseball will be a distraction and cases will be dropping. Also, deaths will not spike up.
2
It is a radical idea. You are completely replacing a system that is 1/6 of our economy in a country of 320+ million people.
2
@davidthaler7018 people die for many reasons. Almost all who died were either old or sick to begin with.
2
You Don't Say, other nations are not implementing what Bernie wants to implement. Also, those countries are not doing better than the US which is rather sad considering how small they are and thus have less issues to deal with.
2
@tomsmith7095 cases are dropping. Look at worldometer stats.
2
Sure. People are leaving NY as is. No one wants to live there.
2
@stephaniemoore1930 over 1/3 of the deaths are in two states, NY and NJ. A recent Penn State study suggests that early on there were over 80 times more cases than what was reported. A reason for the death count we have now is because the virus spreads so fast that it overwhelmed the healthcare system and people who actually needed care did not get it. But that, overall, the virus is not that lethal. For two weeks now we have seen increasing cases, but deaths are not going up. For more on the study read the summary from Penn State News entitled "Initial COVID-19 infection rate may be 80 times greater than originally reported"
2
The CEO made a statement which is typical as the CEO is trying to save the company at that point.
2
What is stupid? People making their own decisions in life? This virus is showing not to be that deadly. Cases are going up but not deaths. That was the goal all along. You can't change midway through.
2
Listen to what? The experts being all over the place? The reality is that the media is talking about the virus again because the "protests" went from being about racism and police brutality to CHAZ, socialism and riots. Now they are switching from to back to the virus. There are no increases in cases, we have more testing. And deaths continue to drop meaning the recovery rate is still going up.
2
Shut downs, I feel, don't work. The virus is that contagious.
2
I don't like this guy. There are other experts out there that disagree with him. He is not giving all the information which is piss poor for any expert to do.
2
@soundbyte6395 comparing covid death where the average age is in the 80s to death via war where the deaths there are young men in their 20s is asinine.
2
If you are under the age of 35, and you are generally healthy, the chances of you dying from the virus is essentially zero.
2
@jordanthistle2360 lying under oath in the Senate.
2
The fear mongering continues. This virus is not that dangerous.
2
@brokenrecord3095 Trump did not incite any riots. He told them to show up. If you are going to water down the standard for inciting you have to do it across all boards. Ted Wheeler said he supported the rioters in Portland. AOC said to make a list of Trump supporters which, to many, means threatening their careers simply due to a political belief difference. Doing impeachment is going to divide us some more because one, many on the right will see it as pure virtue signaling along with hypocrisy, and two, people are still struggling because of this virus. Whatever happened to trying to create another stimulus bill? Instead of trying to impeach a president who broke no law and will be gone soon, how about they work on a new stimulus bill like they said they would.
2
@Joseph Gutierrez in April we had increasing unemployment and doubling of inflation. That is why the CDC and Fauci announced their new mask mandate, to try to hide that fact. The economy in 2020 only fell because state governments literally shut it down. It did not fall because of cracks in it. When states starting opening back up the economy was recovering quickly under Trump. Enter Biden and now it is slowing down where we are seeing stagflation which is what we saw in the 70s.
2
He isn't' trying to save people, he is pushing his little bit if fame he received. All he does is fear monger as opposed to give out information, both good and bad, to the people to have us work together to beat this virus. When every time he speaks he just fear mongers and keeps shifting is stance people ignore him. We made positive progress with this virus that he should tell people. That creates a light at the end of the tunnel. Instead he just fear mongers and it divides us.
2
The issue is that this is a government official that starts out by saying that interacting with the pubic can lead to other people's death. He then says "get a job" and he is deciding what jobs are "essential" and what aren't. That is going borderline communism now. Also, it contradicts what he just said about interacting in public.
2
I doubt there will be a lockdown. The lockdowns were meant to make the economy bad to beat Trump. If we lockdown under Biden it is admitting that Biden failed on his promise to defeat this nation and we are in the same boat as we were under Trump. Basically, the approach is now the Biden team is taking is yes, we are still in this "pandemic", but it was worse under Trump.
2
Also, to add, when frontline doctors, or other experts, are censored on social media pages, that is also a problem. Why are major tech companies like Youtube, or Facebook, who lean left, censor other doctors?
2
@NoName-yc4ts it is legit, I just feel it is not as bad as what we are doing. The left is censoring the right because they want to beat Trump and get their guy in. Right now antidepressant use is up, suicides are up, substance abuse is up, etc. To me that is worse than the virus now.
2
The point is that it is all theatrics at this point. Even after vaccination they are saying to still wear masks. There are states with no mask mandates with low active cases but that data is ignored after saying we should follow the data. It is a symbol of saying "we are all in this together" while violating other rules like social distancing, cleaning hands, etc. Overall, it is the one visible thing people show saying "look at me, I am doing my part" when really they are doing nothing.
2
@chrissy8311 that is the new excuse now. That is all people have now, excuses. Did you see opening day at the Rangers game? Full stadium and basically no one wearing a mask. Another problem with masks is that it takes away our identity. Something as simple as seeing someone smile is now gone. It is designed to make us depressed and miserable. Face it, the masks are not based on science like all of the covid restrictions.
2
@PhantomMite a recent study out of Penn State suggested that the deaths are where they are because of how fast the virus spreads and it overran the hospitals in some places. Over 1/3 of the deaths are in NY and NJ, consider that. Overall, the virus is not that lethal. If you want to know more about the study read a summary on it in Penn State News entitled "Initial COVID-19 infection rate may be 80 times greater than originally reported" In all, the science is out there suggesting the virus is not that deadly but the media does not report it.

Ah, I see EH CBunny is just as ignorant. They write me a comment and run away. How nice to see how open minded they are on wanting to discuss issue. If that person wants to have an open discussion I am willing to have one.
1
Bernie Sanders is a part of the problem. He is so ignorant when it comes to economics and is pure politician. He has nothing but talking points. I could own him in a debate. The reason why Sanders is running is because he is 73 years old. If he wins he has a job for 4 years, if not he retires. In both cases he wins.
1
+EH CBunny Bernie and supporters are whiners. Just listen to them. They make excuses for all of their problems but never blame themselves. Maybe Bernie should have ran a better campaign. Maybe his supporters should have been involved in politics more often and not just follow a guy who offers you free shit. Bernie and his supporters are pathetic.

+Nick Barreira Secular talk is a show for children. Kyle never has anything mature or legit to say.
1
+Vincent Sasseville The US has arguably the best healthcare system in the world. The US has arguably the best university system in the world and is also completely different than compared to the rest of the world. Also those other countries have completely different societies than the US so it isn't a strong comparison. "What should be fairy tales is how easy it is for rich people to influence politic. Only in USA you have legal corruption and this is mind blowing." So you want to give that same corrupt federal government the power to control your healthcare, college education and more of your money?
1
+Christian Petersen I don't like him because he acts like a child and has no clue what he is talking about. He is basically an Alex Jones.
1
+Vincent Sasseville The states set up the rules for primary votes. How about they go out and vote in new state representatives to change those laws. Get involved in local politics as well, not just when some old man comes along and offers you free shit.
1
+Christian Petersen Do you have an actual rebuttal or are you just going to scream "your stupid" and hide away in your safe zone?
