+Oscar Svensson High schools, roads and police are locally funded. That is the huge difference between what moderates support, what the founding fathers support, and what Bernie support. You are trying to justify federal socialism and Bernie's position by pointing towards locally funded programs. It is a weak argument. if you want a $15/hr min. wage or welfare at you state or local level then do it. But don't do it at the federal level.

+Oscar Svensson Also pointing towards a few successful things the government supposedly does is not an excuse to massively expand it. That is like the wife staying with your alcoholic abusive husband because he brought her home flowers one night.

I at times hope for a $15/hr min. wage. I am well off enough to withstand a tough economic times, and seeing all those idiots that support Bernie Sanders lose their jobs will hopefully get them to learn.

+Brian Bailey Bill Maher gave him that chance, Bernie failed. The reason why is because his policies simply won't work. When broken down they will do nothing but harm to this country.

+Brian Bailey As a grad. student I am a slave to my adviser. With that said, the min. wage has never been linked to economic growth. Even politicians in support of it never point towards economic growth as a reason to raise it. It has been linked to job loss though. A $15/hr min. wage will kills several jobs. Everything the federal government touches breaks except for the military. That is because the military is constitutional and is designed of discipline workers. Federal programs are a waste and every problem that Bernie brings up is due to the federal government. Adding more layers of federal government is just going to fuel the fire.
