@5325bunny It is a last ditch effort by Democrats to try to beat Trump. Everything else has failed so they are going to this. It is sickening as it is harming people. However, after the election talks of this virus will disappear.

@redwind5150 because all investigation and impeachment failed. It is an election year so they are going to try to make Trump look bad somehow because if he wins they really have nothing else. And this one is good because he has a great chance to get another SC justice. They have never beaten him on principle, ever.

@torrielindeblad9534 yes as his people are sheep. He will beg for federal dollars and when he does not get it he will blame Trump. Same with other democrats. NY has 1/3 of the deaths, but everyone will point to the national deaths to try to blame Trump even though around 60,000 deaths like in states like MI, NY, NJ, IL and CA, states with democrat governors and some of the strictest lock down measures.

@clagle9899 I am a moderate myself. But these issues are arising from democrat governors. CA, NJ, NY, CA and IL have around 60% of the total deaths and have some of the strictest lockdown measures and democrat governors.

@torrielindeblad9534 you are basically describing the democrat party. So many are accepting their rights being stripped away out of "safety". The NJ governor admitted that he was not considering the Bill of Rights when he created his stay at home order. The governor of IL created a stay at home order where, in that same week, his wife traveled to FL and he avoided the issue. Cuomo create policies that led to the deaths and he ends up cracking jokes with his brother on CNN. CA, NY, NJ, IL and MI have around 60% of the deaths despite some of the strictest lock down measures. Consider that.

@torrielindeblad9534 if Trump were to make this a federal issue you guys would call him a dictator. Trump did all he could do. With a few cases he stopped travel from China. But you cannot shut down the entire nation under a few cases. He did what was he supposed to do, let the states handled it. As for churches, he did not force anything. He, again, left it up to the states. I read the preamble, what is your point? I agree there is responsibilities and many take them. I always wash my hands for example. Every day we take risks but take responsibilities to alleviate them. This virus is no different at this point.

Zac Lodro blue states have higher cost of living thus people make more in income. Therefore the progressive tax code has it where more tax money comes from there. But that does not mean they are rich.

Hi Desertian because they are power hungry and a lot of their supporters have no problem bowing down to the government. Consider how these democrats almost tore down Kavanaugh's reputation by labeling him as a rapist with no evidence. But when Biden gets accused they ignore it. And now Biden made a racist comment and they are defending him. Fact is that the democrats have tried so much to take down Trump such as investigation and impeachment, not actual principles. CA, NY, NJ, IL and MI hold around 60% of the total deaths in the US. Those states are ran by democrat governors and have some of the strictest shutdowns where MI just extended their shutdown to June 12 with no actual plan. Cuomo claimed to be following Trump's CDC guidelines in the nursing home situation, which is not true. But on opening back up he is not following CDC guidelines as they suggest to open up if you have 14 days of declining cases. They have had them for around a month. Fact is that these people are a sick and are placing other people's lives in danger for political gain. They are getting away with it because one, they are not up for reelection until 2022, and two, their voters are idiots.

He did. His excuse was that it was a part of Trump's CDC guidelines. However, in the guidelines it said to isolate them and make sure the resources were available. Neither happened. Also, the CDC standard for reopening is 14 days of dropping cases. NY has seen a month of dropping cases but is now just considering reopening. In all he cherry picked parts of the CDC guidelines and the ones that made a situation worse he is blaming Trump. In all I feel many on the left are using this virus in a last ditch effort to beat Trump.

@redwind5150 these are the people who smeared a SC justice pick by calling him a racist. They have no problem destroying things to gain in power. Look at their lies as well. Trump brings up hydroxychloroquine as a possible cure and the left rip on him despite the experts who say it is safe and has potential. Cuomo claimed he was following Trump's CDC guidelines in placing infected people in nursing homes when he wasn't. The guideline said to still isolate them. Also, the guidelines have standards on when to open up. One is having declining cases for 14 days. They have seen declining cases for a month. So he follows one guideline that led to deaths, but not another that will lead to a growing economy? This is not a conspiracy. They are desperate in trying to beat Trump as they can never do it on principle. After the 2020 election talks of the virus will go away.
