Young people usually support socialism until they get older and actually experience life. The guy in this video does not understand what socialism and capitalism are. He brings up unions when private unions is a part of capitalism.

@dante_f4563 to start, learn what wealth is. Most wealth is non-liquidated and non-consumable. Someone like Bezos is so wealthy because he is the largest shareholder of Amazon. His shares cannot be easily liquidated as doing so will ruin the value of them. Also, shares are non-consumable. So you have to be careful when you talk about wealth. On paycheck by paycheck, a lot of that is poor money management. Also, bankruptcy is a way to help people to prevent creditors form harassing people.

Young people typically do support socialism until they grow up and have to be an adult. So this poll is nothing new.

I agree to a point. There will is no such thing as infinite growth. For example, in physics, take thermodynamics. In theory entropy will reach a max. Now with that said, with innovation it leads to less waste. Take how our handheld smart phone can function the same as numerous devices 30 years ago such as a calculator, a flashlight, a phone, a camera, etc. That alleviates waste. So while you can't have infinite growth, you can have large growth. The phone I own has more computing power than what put a man on the moon. As Feynman said, there is plenty of room at the bottom.

I watched this video with an open mind and I see a guy who does not understand what socialism is and also do not understand how our nation is designed. And bringing up Bernie Sanders is flawed as he would be considered a radical in other developed nations.

On the part that socialist care more is simply not true. Not saying that they don't care, I imagine they do. However, many capitalists care as well. This guy bringing up helping out with individuals is a part of capitalism and a part of the US. A more local community effort and not a centralized one. What he brought up is not socialism. I support capitalism because I know it is the best route in generating the most resources for all. It is hard to help others when resources are limited.

Ok, this guy bringing up climate change really shows a lack of knowledge. Him bring up the 15 to 20 years is simply not true. Scientists in the field like Mike Hulme and Myles Allen, the former works for the IPCC, is real critical of setting such timeframe. Also, it has been capitalism that has improved our use or resources.
