Patches 173 One, you can't compare the US to other countries. The variables are too great. One mentioned population, those countries you listed have smaller than most of our states. Another, you mentioned Germany. Their university system is only for the elite. Here in the US we have athletes that have no business being in college coming in on athletic scholarships. Now that may look bad but after 4 years they can become educated, something that they wouldn't get anywhere else, or at least in Germany. The US has the highest diversity setting in their universities due to how strong they are. They are arguably the best. And you say an educated society is a better society. Well, educated in what? Having more business majors doesn't improve a society.
