  1. Yeah, that is the going rate. If anything teachers are overpaid (and I say that working to become a teacher myself). How many careers are you guarantee hours. Because of unions don't have to work more than you have too and you get a raise every year?

  2. $15/hr? A teacher with a masters degree starting out get around $20/hr. So now a high school dropout wants go get paid as much as a person with a masters degree.
