All this is to divide us. It is sad and I have a hard time fighting against it. I lost friends because of this mess. But who should back down? I oppose all these mandates, I felt what we did in the covid restrictions were worse but all people did was talk about, not substance abuse, businesses being lost, etc. Our "leaders" are trying to divide us and they are slowly succeeding.

Kind of hard to determine is this is because of lack of vaccinations or something else. Older people typically vote republican and the virus is more of a threat to them.

@Sandra Stone this graph shows nothing. It is not factoring in situations like age, health of the individual, nor does it clearly define what is "blue" vs "red" counties. People political affiliation all the time. Look at the recent VA election.

People are not scared of the shot, they are concerned about the mandates that keep getting pushed on us.

@ComradeCatpurrnicus one, so much is lacking in this data. Is it because of politics, or do some areas that lean read have an older population? Also, politics can change. Look at the recent election. And with Biden and Harris saying early on they won't take the vaccine but still do, they said Trump had no distribution plan when over a million people were getting the vaccine under his watch, when democrats violated their own covid restrictions, that is what politicized this.

@meoff7602 no, there is a system in giving government some control. These vaccine mandates are not being created via legislation but instead a bunch of bureaucrats. Same with masks.

The vaccines you listed have been around for years and show to work after years of studying. This vaccine is showing to wear off. Also, this whole situation has been politicized to the point it isn't about public health but about control. We are being told to follow all these mandates when many on the left, like Biden, don't. How many times have Biden been caught with mask off coughing in his hands? The fact is that if you feel we can just submit our way out of this is foolish.
