  1. Grant, Canada has a lower murder rate in general. If you remove all gun murders from the US Canada will still have a lower murder rate. At that point it isn't about gun laws but about culture.

  5. Congress controls personal to enforce immigration laws. Local law enforcement control gun laws. So the issue is different all around.

  6. Magpie, there wasn't any mass shootings prior to 1996 either. Gun murders were dropping prior to the guy buyback that only too around 20% of guns out of circulation. Australia is a poor example to look at.
