@kagome1303 cases are dropping and deaths are low. So the pandemic is a scam at this point. With cases dropping, and deaths being low, and the recovery rate growing still, the media and people like Fauci and Birx are desperate in trying to change the narrative again to create fear. At this point it is time to open back up.

It is a problem. We can't just pay people to do nothing. That ruins the value of the dollar as you are giving away money and getting back nothing. Also, it does create a disincentive to come back to work, or push to reopen the economy at the very least. How many governors are keeping the economy shut down because of this?

@No_Control there are liberal biases at universities, especially ones has large as Yale. Smaller ones not so much, but academics does have a liberal bias due to mainly being out of touch with the common man.

I know people as well. Meanwhile, I have to work. Also, compare it to someone like university professors who want to keep universities shut down, or public schools and teachers. They have a paycheck. Meanwhile, if my university were to shut down you will have private companies that work there that can't. It is all connected.

Raising wages does not mean more income. If wages are raised and hours are cut you do not accomplish anything.

@graemef8594 not true. All numbers were going to the HHS to begin with. Removing the middle man of the CDC receiving it first actually is speeding up releasing the numbers.
