""Single payer healthcare is the same as putting a gun to my wifes head and demanding her service" is one from the top of my head." He isn't wrong. Let me compare it to two things we actually have in this country. 1. Jury duty: You have a right to a trial by a jury of your peers. If someone refuses to do jury duty they go to jail. 2. Defense: The federal government can use a draft to create an army. If you are drafted and refuse you go to jail. If you join the military and try to leave early you go to jail. If the federal government tries to guarantee healthcare like it does a jury and defense, it can hold a gun to doctor's heads and force them to work. Please explain to me where I am wrong there.

"Oh and also apparently Ben is a warmongerer. Dude supports the iraq war which costs trillions." War isn't always bad. At times violence is needed. Calling someone a warmongerer is a poor argument.

"Yes, he is wrong. Nobody is tellling his wife to do this job, she can quite any time. " If you join the military and try to quit early you go to jail. If you get called to jury duty and refuse you go to jail. "Secondly, when you have a single payer system, everyone that goes into that industry knows what they're going in to. So if you're not fine with it, find another industry maybe." And they will just like how we lack teachers.

Faddin, the commonwealth report you gave me has many flaws. Mainly, I see no citations. The Bloomberg report arbitrarily weights life expectancy at 60%. Why? Why not 80%? Why not 40%? The WHO ranking was criticized so much that it did not create another one in almost 20 years. It ranked the US to countries like Malta and San Marino. https://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/-the-business-of-health_110115929760.pdf

R Vanzo, the middle class does not have the income to pay double for healthcare. They do not have the income to pay the higher taxes for a public system and also for a private system. There is a reason why 90% of K-12 students attend public schools.

Fadden, I pointed out how they are flaw. 1. No citations 2. Arbitrary weighing factors 3. Compares the US to small, essentially irrelevant countries That book I linked is written by two professors who give all of their methods and citations. They start out by looking at life expectancy and how there are many factors involved in it besides healthcare.
