During that time the Dow Jones was dropping over 7% a day, this is around 2 to 3 percent drop.

There really aren't any signs. The Federal Reserve raised interest rates where in the past their failure to do so led to recessions. Also, this drop is around 2 to 3 percent were the last recession saw an over 7% drop in the Dow Jones.

@a_can_of_soda , a drop of 2 to 3 percent is nothing. Also, the Federal Reserve raised taxes. In the previous major recessions the Fed kept interest rates low. Kyle and his fans don't understand that. To them they just scream "TAX CUTS AND DEREGULATION" as if that is an argument.

He is an economic illiterate. The Federal Reserve not increasing interest rates in the 2000s cause the last recession. The Fed is raising interest rates.

It usually doesn't cause recessions, Kyle is just speaking out of his ass. What does are low interest rates.

C Wilson , it was low interest rates that caused the last recession.

To a degree. The main indicator is when the Federal Reserve does not control growth. Small recessions happen and are unpredictable, but major ones are when you look at how the Fed acts. In the last recession the economy was growing but the Fed did not raise interest rates to which a bubble burst. Now they are which is slowing down growth but will prevent a bubble from bursting.

@dylanholt9906 , interest rates have not gone up in years, so of course they will still be low. But they are going up due to the growth in the economy.
