@aetherllama8398 it is a model that is not taking into the account the virus. The economy did not fall because of a crack in it but instead because of a virus and government forcing people to shut down.

The problem with this model is that prior economic downfalls happened because of a crack in the system. Here the economy downfall happened because of the virus and government shutting down the economy. With how democrats are acting I do not see Biden winning.

@seriesjunkie0074 he does not want to mimic those nations. For example, Denmark, Norway and Finland all have more of a flat tax compared to the US. They have no wealth tax, no min. wage, and lower corporate taxes. Bernie wants their welfare system plus more, such has overtaking the energy sector to make us less dependent on oil (Norway is one of the top oil producers in the world) and creating federal government jobs. He also does not want their tax system but instead expand on the progressive tax we have now along with raising corporate taxes and creating a wealth tax. In all, Bernie only wants a fraction of what those nations actually do.

The MSM blacked it out. It helped that a pandemic is going on. I feel this virus is now being used to hide a lot that is going on and also try to beat Trump.

@sirius1696 true, however this model is flawed in that it is not accounting for the virus. The economy did not tank because of some crack in the system. It tanked due to the government forcing people to stay home and shutting down businesses.
