  6. Gorsuch "skated by" because it was right after Trump's election and the seat was delayed long enough. We are around 30 days until a midterm election and the democrats have a chance to take over the Senate. So they are delaying in this case to try to gain power. Garland is a poor example because the Republicans had power in the Senate, that's checks and balances.

  9. Republicans were elected to stop Obama. They had power in the Senate and thus they used it according to the Constitution. That is not a dirty game, that is them doing their job. No one lives was harmed in that case.
