Cumputing fornever, bread is around a dollar for a loaf in the US. I can make a dollar just by asking a handful of people in my city. It does not take two months to afford bread in the US.

I work with a lot of Iranians, a few of them are women. They hate Iran and love the US. Trust me, the women there have basically no rights.

Most businesses already offer it as an incentive for workers to work for them. There is an advantage for businesses to offer it. Those that don't do so for one simple reason, they can't afford it. But in reality there is no need to make it required by law.

Mark, over half of people have paid time off from their company. Private businesses already offer it and higher wages even though they don't have to. Your fear mongering won't work against someone with intelligence.
1
Mark, most people that don't get time off are part time workers or temporary workers.

Iran has no rights for women, do you want that as well?

White Knight, you can say the same thing about what Pridetoons Reviews said. "Country does good things so everything is good". If you really want to compare us to Mexico and Iran you have to do a complete comparison and not cherry pick.

And in Iran they don't allow women to have rights. You don't think that plays a role?
1
Brian, as a whole no. The government is also very oppressive. Working with the Iranians I do they are glad to get out of there.

Crony capitalism exists because of big federal government. Justice Democrats wants to create crony capitalism on steroids.

That is by law. In the US around 70% of people have it. So even when businesses don't have to give it they still do. Also, if someone takes time off someone else has to make up for the work. So when you take time off others are picking up the slack. Those picking up the slack are the ones who generally become well off and in the top 1 or 2 percent. Someone still has to produce and if you are not the one producing someone else is. So if you want time off then great, but don't complain when you remain poor and income inequality continues to grow.

Only around 5% of the country works more than one job.
1
Who makes the 1%? Usually those earn around $380,000 in a household. The 5% are around $190,000 in a household. Now that varies based on cost of living. But as a whole those who pick up the slack will be near the top.

Iran basically have no rights for women compared to the US. I work with many Iranians. Trust me, they love the US.

Bryan, what people don't understand is that a lot of people who don't get time off usually work part time or work for a company who simply can't afford it. For companies who can't afford it they usually hire part time, temporary workers to begin with. My first job was like that with many part time workers. They offered time off but it was if you worked, on average, 30 hours a week and you got one week off. Reality is that many can't afford it, but those that do will.
