Great point.

There are a lot of workers in oil that are suffering beyond executives. But screw working class people I guess.

@ladycatfish2896 exactly. Kyle has a long history of not have a factual take on this. His fans are using this to push a GND. Just like they are using the current crisis to push permanent M4A and a permanent UBI. Far leftists like Kyle do not care about the facts, just their agenda.

Why should fossil fuels die? Really, at this point they are the cheapest option we have.
1
@tamarasawchuk468 exactly. We use oil for more than just fuel. Also, public transportation is something we cannot rely on.

Darth Wheezius in a lot of rural areas diesel is not taxed for farmer making it cheaper.

@PistonAvatarGuy we do not know the result from current climate change. So you can't just claim mass extinction.
1
@PistonAvatarGuy what mass extinction? Also, are mass extinction really bad? it is a part of evolution.
1
@PistonAvatarGuy are mass extinction bad? The dinosaurs at the time won and mammals lost. Dinosaurs going extinct allowed mammals to arise and eventually humans came. Again, extinction is a part of evolution. Or do you deny evolution?

@PistonAvatarGuy I actually studied science beyond middle school.
1
@PistonAvatarGuy I am a PhD candidate in physical chemistry. Using my field to give you an example of how little we know we do not know how photosynthesis works. I have a friend who is researching it using modeling and I have people in my field using 2D EV to study it. On researcher is in the University of Chicago, a prestige university in research. Knowing we do not know how photosynthesis happens what makes you think we know how current climate change will influence the overall ecosystem? We don't.

Huh? Higher demand means lower prices? Since when?
1
@jeremysalvatori3444 you are surprised? Kyle never does research on the topics he discusses.

@krisalis709 I talked to a guy from Texas and he says oil workers are concerned about their jobs. You are correct that they are paid as of now, but in the future workers could be in trouble.
1
It does. When the economy gets rolling again we need cheap goods due to people not having much money. One such good will be gas.
1
Dan Ryan deflation is not all bad. Lower gas prices means lower shipping cost, lower travel cost, etc.
1
Really? So lay off a bunch of employees and jack up our energy prices?
