Obamacare is slavery in a way. You are forcing people to buy something. Also, Kyle claims that Carson is not qualified for his job, but what makes Kyle qualified to talk about a complex issue like healthcare?

Dac Tucker, it is working out well as I am a doctorate candidate.
2
Dac Tucker, my research involved a lot of biological molecules such as RNA and peptides. I measure physical properties of them to expand our understanding of them. Now what do you do with a history degree?
2
"A TRUMP university, doctorate candidate? " I'm done with you. If you can't at mature I have no reason to talk to you.
2
" Forcing low-income people to buy overpriced health insurance is slavery," Which is what Obamacare does. "but having healthcare is a basic human right" Not true. Someone has to provide healthcare to you. if no one is there t provide it or willing to provide it, than what?
2
" According to your logic taxes in general are slavery" If you vote for it it isn't. We didn't vote for Obamacare, it was forced on us. I vote for state and local taxes. In fact, I voted for a sales tax increase recently in my city. The US system is really strong when it comes to healthcare compared to other countries.

AlphaMikeOmega, slavery oppressed people against their will to benefit others. Obamacare is the same thing. As far as leaving the country, you can leave the country if Trump repeals it. How does that sound? Me, I support state rights and the states creating laws like Obamacare. In that way if I don't like how a state is ran I can move and remain a US citizen. Your way is feast or famine. My way is the moderate approach.

DonShifty, you are oppressing people to benefit others. That is what slavery was as well. I have a degree in physics and one in chemistry. I am a doctorate student in physical chemistry. I can read and analyze data and problem solve. Kyle has a degree in political science which means all he has ever done is learn how to talk a lot. He did not study science, math, or healthcare thus why does he think he is an expert in it? Carson has studied healthcare. So by Kyle's standard Carson knows more about Obamacare than he does meaning that Caron is right on Obamacare and Kyle isn't. But, if I wanted to get a political science degree I am sure I can get one easily as it is not an expert field.

"Repeal Obamacare and you throw 20 million people of off health insurance, oppressing all of them." Why do those people have insurance? Because 1. you forced them to get it 2. premiums of other people went up You don't have a right to someone's service and/or product. If you can't afford insurance than you are not being oppressed, you just can't afford insurance. What is oppression is forcing others to pay more so others who can't afford insurance now can. " California has a plan to create a single-payer healthcare system. Are you fine with that? " Sure, that is their state. I don't vote there or live there and only pay taxes when I visit. If they want to create that system then fine, that is within the bounds of the constitution. "And how do you feel about the possibility of the Trump Administration cracking down on states that have legalized marijuana?" I don't agree with it, and it most likely won't happen anyway. "You can't seriously be telling me that's what you think a Political Science degree is all about. It's a lot more than just talking." Oh yeah, and writing. Not problem solving or analyzing data. But, Kyle did contradict himself. Carson works in healthcare so by Kyle's standard Carson knows more about Obamacare and healthcare than Kyle. As a whole, though, Kyle isn't too bright.

"by your logic taxes is a form of slavery" In many ways no, besides the federal income tax. The federal income tax was unconstitutional. But state and local taxes I can vote for and more to another state if I want. That is why only the states were taxed for federal revenue at the beginning. I had basically no say in the ACA being developed.

"Hey Dipshit. Aren't you forced by your state to buy car insurance?" That is a state law. I can vote for the representatives in my state. I can only vote for 2 senators. Big difference. "Maybe you should get a Master's degree in American History," History is not an expert field. Anyone can read books. My dad knows a lot of history just by reading. I know a decent amount by reading. That isn't hard. "to a national healthcare plan is a despicable false equivalence" No, because you are forcing people to give up their services. Either doctors or insurance companies. On car insurance again a car insurance company can deny me for being a bad driver. Health insurance have a harder time deny me of things. So the comparison to car insurance is also very poor. On top of that if I don't drive I don't have to get car insurance.

You are forcing an insurance company to give up their services to people. " History is a field of expertise" Not compared to engineering, physics, statistics, mathematics, nursing, pharmacy, etc. Anyone can read a bunch of books. If you went to college to get a history degree than you wasted your time.
1
Dac Tucker, you are dense. Insurance companies are being forced to cover people. That means they they have to raise premiums on other people to cover people they don't want to cover.
1
Dac Tucker, I can see why you got a history degree. That is all you can get. You don't have the intelligence to get a degree in the STEM fields.

Because Justice Democrats, and give Kyle money.
