This outsourcing has been going on in tech companies for years. This is nothing new as technology has led to the ability to have work, in tech, in different nations. There are pros and cons of this as was a discussion point we had in my MBA technology in business course. One con was it does take away jobs from Americans. However, pros are not just lower costs, but foreigners are better at technology compared to Americans. In short, they are more skilled and more productive.
