  3. Jared, no system is ideal and someone will be harmed by a policy. In healthcare nothing is ideal. Consider this. In the 1800s Kimmel's son would have been dead and no one would have cared as that was normal in those days. Theses days we have the ability to save people like that and if the kid dies it is so rare people care. We have come a long way over the years but we still have shortcomings such as wait times for kidneys or no cure for diabetes. No healthcare system is ideal. Jimmy is appealing to emotions that if Trump and the republicans pass their bill and someone dies it is their fault when in reality it is a collection of things. This is a complex issues and we need to leave emotions out of it.

When you use emotions you end up ignoring facts and reasoning which can cause many problems. Healthcare is a complicated issue and we can't just throw more money at it expecting it to get all better. What Kimmel did was very low.
