  1.  @borninthewronggenerationno3873  , he is. Bernie was an independent until he decided to run for president and then became a democrat. He did not accomplish anything in life except being a career politician from the second smallest state in the union. He has never ran a charity, a fundraiser, or ran a business. He inherited a 3rd home and after getting recognition from 2016 he wrote a book and made millions. Reality is that Bernie is a hack who has never accomplished anything in life.

  3. Because Bernie never answered the question. He deflected to saying "Trump is a liar". You don't think moderates will be concerned at that point that he praised Venezuela and when it became a mess he did not say a word? Or how he praised Castro?

  5.  @thomasdendtler4077  , Bernie praised Venezuela and Cuba in the past and then was quite when they failed. Also, his ideas are more in line with those nations. Denmark has more of a flat tax compared to the US. For example, the median income in the US is around $63,000 a year, the top tax rate is around 6.3 time more than that at $400,000. Denmark's median income is around $43,000. Their top tax rate is around 1.3 times more than than at around $55,000 a year. In short, Denmark has more of a flat tax. Bernie either 1. Wants to copy Venezuela and centralize the country and base it on one source of income, the rich (where Venezuela relied on oil) or 2. He does want to copy Denmark raises taxes on everyone including the middle class, and is lying. Take your pick

During a debate against Cruz a guy from Denmark pushed Bernie in the corner saying he wanted to spend like a Scandinavian but not tax like one. So what is it? "But let's be adults here. There's no such thing a free lunch. There will be a minor increase in middle-class tax rates but will be an outright bargain compared to being bankrupted by medical expenses." Will it? Most who go bankrupt are poor to begin with. " Just imagine: no insurance premiums, no deductibles, no co-pays, no doctor bills, no hospital bills, no fighting with insurance companies, actually being covered if you currently can't get insurance, $200 annual max out of pocket for prescription drugs. " Long wait times, less access and quality of care, more waste.

  14.  @thomasdendtler4077  , oh, thanks. So that means the highest tax bracket in the US is close to 13 times that of the median income. If Bernie and his fans want to follow Denmark they will make the highest tax bracket at around $40,000 a year. Is that what you want? Admit it, either you want to raise taxes on everyone, which will copy Denmark, or you don't want to copy Denmark.

  17. Bernie did support Venezuela and did praise Cuba. That will harm him in many states with a large Hispanic population. When pressed Bernie just said "Trump is a liar!". He never addressed the issue. Reality is that Bernie will push for socialism that was installed in places like Venezuela.
