There are two points here. One, no candidate can beat Trump. The next point is that Bernie fans literally are delusional and feel their ideas are popular, and that democrats are not left enough. So if Bernie ran against Trump and got destroyed it will show to Bernie voters that Bernie and his ideas are not popular forcing many on his camp to come towards the center. The political left is divided and too far left. Many, especially in the Bernie camp, need to come to the center.

@clintholmes2061 , how is it wrong? To start, Bernie is too far left and him, and his fans have either 1. Divided the democratic party or 2. Pulled too many too far left Him losing by a large margin to Trump will make people realize that moderates, not radicals wins elections.

@clintholmes2061 , so you have no actual counter argument. Tell me, what will you say if Bernie ran against Trump and Trump beats him? What will be your excuses then?

There are two points here. One, Warren's attack on Bernie shows how bad many people on the left are and how dishonest they are. Next, Bernie is actually the best candidate for us to run. Bernie fans literally think Bernie popular, but in reality Bernie is the weaker candidate. Him losing will get his fans realizing that Bernie is not popular and people should come towards the middle.

@nickkinney2950 , they are radical. He is asking to completely change functional systems in a nation of 320+ million people and an over $20 trillion economy. Good luck getting that done with the diverse culture we have and how complex those programs are.

@LiveTheDream24 , the polls show he has the highest approval ratings with his voters of his state. If you look at that poll there is a trend. They are senators from small states. The top for senators are from Vermont and Wyoming. Just because the people of Vermont like him does not mean the rest of the nation does. I did watch the video. Kyle keeps yelling about the polls. Watch the Stephen Michael Davis video entitled "Kyle Kulinski DESTROYED with FACTS and LOGIC!!" He brought up two great points. One, just because polling data says something does not mean people will vote that way. Next, just because it polls well does not mean it is the best. Case in point, the War on Drugs was popular when it was passed in the 90s. Also, as prof. Andrew Gelman said in the ScientificAmerican article entitled "How can a poll of only 1,004 Americans represent 260 million people with only a 3 percent margin of error?" He writes "Finally, the 3 percent margin of error is an understatement because opinions change. On January 3, 2004, the Gallup poll included 410 Democrats, 26 percent of whom supported Howard Dean for president. The margin of error was 5 percent, and so we can be pretty sure that on that date, between 21 percent and 31 percent of Democrats supported Dean. But a lot of them have changed their minds. A poll is a snapshot, not a forecast." Even if Bernie is polling well nationally there are two major issues there 1. Elections are done at the state level 2. There has been zero attack ads by the Trump team on Bernie. So too early to tell. Based on everything out there in Trump being the incumbent, the awful political games done by the democrats, and the strong economy, Bernie has very little chance.

@nickkinney2950 , uh, why can't we afford not to change? When you go through the numbers there is so much that is not clear that you can't make a definitive conclusion. Also, the US does many things well. We should fix the programs we have in place, not dismantle and replace them. Based on that Bernie's plans, with a very high chance, will cause major problems.
