Those workers are capitalists as well.
2
They are oppressed.
2
@frenchflag9390 , they got tax cuts because they pay more taxes than most of the country combined. The top 10% earned 40% of the income but paid close to 70% of federal income taxes.
2
@zidneya , if you are paid a low wage than you earned it. Don't like it than develop skills.
2
@michaelspoto8720 , uh, the left does. In order to pay for a lot of their programs they have to increase taxes on everyone.
2
Yep, he can't be honest when his side sucks.
2
When you learn wealth is than you realize that is not a bad position for this nation to be.
2
@griffinchalem7043 , true. Really, the fact that the rich are doing much better is a sign that all of society is doing better. Bezos, for example, is very wealthy. That is because he made shopping much easier to the vast majority of people. Him being rich allows me to be better off.
2
@deeznutsanyachin2027 , shopping is much easier. Instead of driving around looking for something that might not exist I can just go to Amazon. Also, Amazon pushed other companies to expand online such as Walmart with their Walmart pickup.
2
@rb032682 , i am not jealous and greedy like you are. I don't care how much a rich person makes. I care about my situation
2
Wealth inequality is very deceptive. Wealth inequality can, arguably, be a sign of a strong economy. Wealth is more than just income, it is assets as well. Bezos is very wealthy but earns only $80,000 a year. His wealth is derived from his company in Amazon. Yes, he has a lot of wealth, but his company made the majority of lives better. They can shop easier and it forced other companies to compete and improve. Also, just because Bezos is rich does not mean you are poor. So you have to be very careful in presenting these stats.
1
@Reza-hz1ce , they pay much higher tax rates than others. That is oppression.
1
@rynegreen7902 , uh, they don't have power. I have never seen a rich guy force people to do things. Also, they live in gated communities. So you are saying walls are good?
1
@spoton3278 , you are not looking hard enough. I earn $23000 a year and have many loopholes
1
Dave Ponsford , the government has power and simply sells it to the highest bidder. The source of the power is government, not the rich
1
@zidneya , so you support rewarding failure. Most people who do that are failures themselves
1
@kanecamron3082 , no, it means government has power. The rich have nothing. All they can do is offer you a job and/or a product. That's it. For as bad as Walmart may be I have never seen them hold a gun to people's head and take their money or force people to work for them. Government has. If government has limited powers than it has nothing to sell. Limit the powers of the government and you solve the problem as they can't be bought. It is like going into Starbucks and trying to buy a mattress. You can't as they don't sell them.
1
@zidneya , Shapiro, a guy who wrote best selling books, grew a business and has a law degree from an Ivy League college is a failure? Also, I am all for helping out the middle class. A little clue for you, those individuals make way more than the min. wage.
1
@laserramon9926 , i am a phd candidate. Look up how much grad students typically make.
1
@laserramon9926 , as big as Kyle? In what ways? I have 4 peer reviewed papers, two more drafted we are working on, and enough data for 3 more. How many does Kyle have? I will say I am as big as Kyle, just in a different field.
1
Dave Ponsford , the source of the power is meant to be with the people, not government. Limit the powers of the government, that is the key.
1
@spoton3278 , I agree, I don't. That is my life choice to pursue my PhD.
1
@deeznutsanyachin2027 , nobodies? He debated in front of congress. He debated other professors. The college kids are kids who at least step out of their own bubble. When does Kyle do that? Shapiro was on Bill Maher. How about Kyle goes on Ben's show?
1
@mahal3680 , define rich? I feel I am rich. I have a career I enjoy. I have friends and success. I don't need a lot of money. I am not jealous and greedy like you.
1
@zidneya , Ted Cruz studied law, not religion or science. So I won't take his opinion on those issues. Just like I went to the mechanic to fix my car as I am not a mechanic myself.
1
@zidneya , so why do you listen to Kyle or politicians on those issues? In the end I listen and cite actual professionals in the field. For example, in the healthcare discussion I have cited professors from Stanford, Texas A&M and from the University of Chicago.
1
@zidneya , I am not changing the topic. If Shapiro has an opinion and cites a credible source than I simply look deeper in it. Same with Kyle. But ultimately don't seek them out for knowledge on those issues, I seek out experts. For example, Kyle cites the 45,000 deaths stat related to healthcare. What do I do? I seek experts' opinions on it and go from there.
1
@miraprochazka4172 , Kyle.
1
When is Kyle going to cover the Green New Deal? I feel never as he will really have to push hard to defend that communist garbage.
1
thewanderandhiscomp , ok, and?
1
@junfaa , Amazon allows you to shop at home instead of driving around wasting time, wasting gas and adding damage to your car.
1
@deeznutsanyachin2027 ,also, Amazon prime allows you to buy the movie and stream it immediately.
1
@junfaa , the poor are not getting poorer. Anyone who says that does not understand economics.
1
@admiral7599 , what rapid inflation? The economy is growing.
1
@deeznutsanyachin2027 , I have no problem waiting. I order a book, wait a couple days, and read it then. What's your point?
