  1. Climate change has been happening for over 4 billion years. Those that think the government is capable of doing anything is foolish. The government is taking advantage of that to raise more taxes and increase regulations, essentially gain more power.

  2. Jeffrey Amazing Pushing for a carbon tax.  A higher gas tax in some places.  We have too many regulations as is.  There comes a point where it is a waste.   3. partiancommander China has an advantage due to lack of regulations.  One area of research involving solar cells are with lanthanides and actinides, the f-elements.  China has cornered the market of those elements raising the price for anyone buying them outside of the US.  That is because they have such little regulations that they can open a mine and mine them easily to do research on them.  In the US it takes around 10 years to open a mine due to regulations thus we have limited access to them.   All these regulations that liberals are pushing to combat climate change will actually hurt scientific research in other areas.
