She is"educated" but brought up the fact she is a black woman which is irrelevant to the situation. A lot who get a PhD are insecure.

Medicare for all will lead to worse healthcare as it pays 40% less than private insurance. That is one reason why healthcare is so expensive, it has to fill in the gap that Medicare does not pay.

The government has placed restrictions on medicare in the past because healthcare providers were abusing it. When someone else is picking up the tab consumers do not care. So in the 80s healthcare providers provided a ton of pointless care to patients knowing the patients will take it because they aren't paying. Thus bipartisan reform was done to stop that which meant it limited what Medicare will pay for. So there is a point there.

You really can't say who has the best as there are too many moving parts. Every nation has advantages and shortcomings. You also have to factor in culture.

Medicare for all is not popular. The exit polls of dem elections felt it was a public option. When you start adding in situations like removing private insurance it becomes unpopular.

@bubblegumBri I work in academics and have for years. Most who get their PhDs and work in academics are insecure. They cannot succeed elsewhere so they get tenure, to where they cannot get fired, and/or get an admin position where most are worthless. Most are spineless. Give a couple of examples. At my university we receive many emails from different admin people saying the same thing. We have been receiving it from the president, the provost, and now the vice provost all about covid. I just received an email about commencement from the "Associated Vice President of Enrollment". What? What position is that? And when you approach these people they become offended. Another was in UCLA. In June a non black student suggest that the black students get extra time on the final. The professor responded back with legit points as since the entire class was online he did not know who was black. Or if students from MN should receive extra time. He was, shocker, educating the student and the class on equality and how, even during tough times, everyone should be treated equally. He was suspended for three weeks because administration rather cater to the vocal minority as opposed to challenging them and teaching them life lessons. No spine. So just because you are "educated" does not mean you know what you are doing nor talking about. In many cases it is the opposite.

@Sam H I agree. Nothing says being oppressed being a black woman with a PhD and being a professor where she most likely has tenure. Meanwhile, my dad, who is white, has to work at a factory still in his 60s where a year ago an accident had him lose part of his finger. The place he works in is full of lead where he has to wear a respirator. Man, his white male privilege sure helped him out there compared to this woman.

@winston3737 it isn't related to race but related to income. Again, this woman, I bet, has better healthcare access then most people. I know of a black individual that was kicked in the knee while trying to arrest someone tearing up his knee. He received great care. Why? Because he had a full time job with great healthcare. He is a home owner and intelligent. Race has nothing to do with it.

As I said, what does the "associate vice president of enrollment" do? Maybe if you actually interacted with society in life and not live in a bubble you will realize how out of touch admin in academics are. Also, I gave the example of the UCLA professor being suspended for 3 weeks for.......wait for it.......deciding to treat all students equally. Man, how terrible. He must be a racist for not wanting to give special advantages to blacks. That is how far the pendulum swung. If you do not give blacks special privileges you are called a racist. It is not longer about treating them as equals but catering to them. Leftists have lost their minds..
