  7. +295Phoenix Europe and Japan have crime problem and gun problems as well. Per capita there are European countries that have more mass shootings than the US. And gun murders in the US has been dropping since 1993 even though the number of guns have been going up. The 2nd amendment was to prevent tyranny, it serves a great purpose. Anyone who says otherwise does not know history. But if you want to arbitrarily remove the 2nd amendment then how about the 1st. Hate speech rallies people to commit crime. We can remove the 4th amendment. I am sure that if we allowed the government to randomly search property that crime will go down. James Holmes was building bombs and planning out his attack in the privacy of his own home. A random search would have stopped that. Or they would have caught killers like John Wayne Gacy. Why do you support an amendment that kills thousands of people?
