Because the far left have become fascist. If you don't support the Alabama law than don't live there. Simple. The problem is that the far left wants to enforce their lifestyles on others.

@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , the Constitution is the frame work to run our nation on it. It is the standard. I know leftists have no standards but that is why the Constitution exists.

Exactly. But the far left wants to enforce their lifestyle on others. If the people of AL want that law than let them have it.

@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , it is easy to move states. I moved 1500 miles away. Also, at the state level you have more control of the government. That is why state rights are so great.
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , you are forcing states to enact laws the citizens don't agree with. People simply disagree with abortion and feel others should not commit it. That is the beauty of state rights, it comes down to culture. The culture in AL wants to place restrictions on abortion. I bet you will disagree with AL's law being federal.

@risingsuperstarfrost3096 , people can easily move states. It happens often.
1
@princessolmeca2933 , why?
1
Look up Casey v PP. That is the real abortion case of importance
1
@Nicole Llih , why not? Define a "baby".
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , it does via the 2nd amendment. Roe v Wade doesn't make abortion legal, it just protects privacy rights where you actually don't have any in the Constitution. It is a silly argument as I can then argue that murder should be legal as long as I do it in the privacy of my own home.
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , read it again, it says "the people".
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , how is it a silly argument?
1
This law is inline with Casey v PP. No need to challenge Roe v Wade at that point.
1
Look up Casey v PP. States are allowed to do this
1
Which is fine. I don't agree with this law but I defend this state's right to create it.

@fcdl61 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntNzchdHsqg Great video on that topic. The left is inconsistent on this issue. Let the state do what they want. They are not violating the constitution. I but left leaning states will hate a federal law banning abortions outright.
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , rights don't change from state to state, not civil liberties. Every state should follow the Constitution and does. Nowhere is abortion listed in the Constitution.
1
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 , what standards? I see none.
