  19. FDR did not create a stable economy. After the war we still had recessions, like one under Jimmy Carter. You never hear of it because recover was quick thanks to Reagan.

  22. There were not 170 economists who supported him. Of course Gorden Gecko supported him. Bernie would have expanded the powers of the federal government meaning Gecko can get more bang for his buck from the corrupt politicians he buys outs.

  24. If the federal government had limited powers than it can't be bought. I want to attack the actual disease. Bernie is just attacking the symptom. Limit the powers of the federal government and go to more state and local government and money in politics becomes basically a non-issue.

  26. Public funded elections means the politicians get to choose who runs and they fund their campaign. That means someone like Trump or Sanders will never have a chance.

  27. With your plan the politicians will create rules to where the only candidates are picked by the DNC and RNC. That's it. You just made the situation worse. The pool can't be limitless but will have a finite amount of cash, thus the number of candidates will be limited. My solution? Follow the constitution. Limited federal government and more state rights. You have way more control of local governments.

  28. At the local level you can attend town hall meetings and call them out. You can write for you local paper or talk to the locals. You have more control. And if that does not work than move. You can move and remain a US citizen.

  29. Then become involved in your local community. I do. I met both candidates for mayor and it persuaded me to vote for who I did, and she won. I witness first hand how are city is being ran and I vote for change. I voted for a tax increase to build more schools. I voted on a regulation to prevent monopolies. It does not take much but a little effort.

  30. With federal standards businesses just leave all together. Also, with 50 states competing they will push to be the best state ever creating a race to the top.
