We should destroy teacher unions.  Look up Teacher Unions vs Students on youtube by Prager University, they explain very well how teacher unions don't help the lower tier schools and students at all. Funding isn't the problem, we spend more per student in education compared to every other country besides one.  One should also read John Taylor Gatto's The Underground History of American Education.  Where is the study that our current system works?  That pushing more math and science and removing art and creativity works?  Kyle mentioned about teaching evolution which is fine, but is that a priority?  Would you rather have people who can regurgitate facts or who are creative and free thinkers?  The problem with the public education system is that people have no clue what goes on in it, or have no experience in it, like Kyle.
