steelhound duncan experts disagree on M4A. Also, what has Bernie actually done? All he has done is run his mouth and then enjoy his three homes and his millions. He has never done anything to help out people.

He hasn't been right. What is going on is an unusual situation. Bernie wants to create these permanent program.

@son-K-rays5798 , most of our "mixed economy" are government programs ran at the state and local level. So yes, Medicare for all will arguably be the end all of the US.
1
@BootBizarre , in every system people die due to shortcomings in a healthcare system. Our system does many things very well such as higher survival rates in advanced illnesses for example. "We have tens of thousands of people who die every year due to a lack of healthcare. " Amenable mortality is an issue every system has to face. Also, it is very hard to accurately measure how many actually die. That is why it is very debatable if it is a problem or not. There are many arguments against those numbers.

@tjstarr2960 "There WOULD be more doctors because there would be more demand for doctors. " There is already a high demand for doctors. The issue is that very few are able to become one due to talent or desire. This idea that a national healthcare system would produce more doctors is simply false. If anything it will produce less.
1
Bernie does not care about you. All he cares about is getting attention so he can sell another book and make millions.
1
@christaylor9095 tuition free college won't produce more doctors. Every med school has a less than 50% acceptance rate. The issue is that very few want to become a doctor or have the talent to become one. But of course Bernie supporters don't like to look deeper on complex issues.
1
@christaylor9095 again, med schools have less than a 50% acceptance rate. Also, doctors are paid very well, so money is not the issue. The issues are that people don't have the desire and/or the talent to become a doctor. But again, you refuse to look deeper on complex issues. Typical far leftist.
1
@christaylor9095 you make it sound like that you can just snap your fingers and things magically appear. This is why Bernie lost to a guy with dementia. People know that is not how it works.
1
@christaylor9095 again, money is hardly an issue for med students. They know they will earn a lot. You say "increase the number of applicants", but again, every med school has a less than 50% acceptance rate. Explain that. As for blocking me, way to live in a bubble.
1
@tylawrence802 learn what wealth is. When you do you realize that a few having a lot of "wealth" is not necessarily a bad thing.
1
@claybrown1258 Yep, he will endorse his "good friend" Biden. Bernie fans have been scammed.
1
@philippesantini2425 again, what has he done? He is a career politician. He has never actually built anything in his life outside of politics.
1
This isn't socialism though, plus this is temporary.
1
@MalleusRegum , there is a lot of truth to that statement which is a fear I have. The reality is this, there is a clear problem thus this is a temporary program to fix a clear problem. Someone like Bernie wants a permanent program to "fix" something that may or may not be a problem to begin with.
1
FDR turned a recession into a depression. When was the last time it took nearly a decade to recover from a recession?
1
So it takes an emergency to push your agenda? Pretty weak agenda in reality. Also, what is going on is a temporary solution when there is a clear problem. Pushing for permanent solutions when there is no clear problem is a different issue.
1
He wasn't right. What is going on now is an unusual event but is also temporary. Bernie wants to create permanent programs.
1
Bernie does not have numbers. He only has appeal to emotion talking points. That is why he lost. People got bored with his talking points.
1
Yes and no. If you are someone who can afford to remain at home and isolated then by all means, do it. However, production still needs to take place.
1
This is a temporary program. You essentially take a few steps back before going forward. Different than a permanent program.
1
Ok, and? He wasn't an economist. So what's your point?
1
mxt mxt really? It does matter if he is an economist. Saying Einstein was a socialist is simply doing the logical fallacy appeal to authority. I am a scientist myself and I oppose socialism, same with many other scientists.
1
mxt mxt some economists did predict 2009. Also, they are mainly correct when many said a hands off approach is best in a recovery. As for my field, I am a physical chemist.
1
mxt mxt the hands off approach has led to the fastest recovery in all of history. Under FDR it took nearly a decade and finally a war to recover from. My last paper was published 4 months ago.
1
He is a communist. You can't compare this temporary situation with a clear problem to creating a permanent program when the problem is not exactly clear.
1
haus _gattaca Scandinavian policies also have more of a flat tax, lower corporate tax rates, no wall street tax, and a higher VAT tax.
1
The Headhunter exactly. This is a temporary issue with a clear problem. Bernie's ideas are permanent ideas with no clear problem.
