  3. BigHeadClan, I agree. I have done a little work on solar where I have a friend who works with the f-elements that are being looked at for solar. It has limitations. What I find to be very bad in this video is how Kyle points to a poll to justify his case as opposed to any form of science literature. As if a poll of people who don't understand the topic is supposed to mean anything.

  4. You have to be realistic, we can't get completely off of fossil fuels within the next decade. AOC does not understand science nor engineering. She is living in a fantasy world.

  12.  @alonsoarana5307  , I don't dismiss them, I highly question them. Those polls are vague questions one complex issues being asked to people who are not highly informed on the topic. Opinions change when more information is given. As Prof. Andrew Gelman said, polls are a snapshot, not a forecast. But I guess a professor of applied statistics is not a credible enough source for you.

  15. Frank Lance, green energy is becoming more efficient and cheaper, i agree. The problem is at the industrial level. At the industrial level you need a consistent source of energy to function. You are also talking about finding a way to store the energy, transport it, etc. It is not easy. I support going to more "green" energy, but people have to realize the hurdles involved. It is not going to be easy.

  17. eddy williams, I am a scientist myself who does research on understanding structure and dynamics of biological materials. I fully understand the point of being creative and progressing. I am just saying that we have to be realistic here. We can't set unreasonable goals.

  19. 2038 Movement, 2040 is a little more reasonable. While I feel we still won't in major industrial areas and major cities, we will in most of the country, especially rural areas. Consider that Rock Port, MO is completely ran on wind power.

  21. the one winged angel, you don't work in the field. If you did than you would know the issues Tesla are facing and how Elon Musk is being criticized for not producing enough. Go to rural areas, do you really think people there are going to give up their vehicles that take gas and diesel? The ones they have are from the 80s. This whole pie in the sky mindset by they ultra left is not productive.

  23.  @yacksonmehdi7134 , C Wilson makes claims with no justification. He just name calls. You are correct, we will not be fossil fuel independent in 10 years. I plan on using my car until it drops and then the only other car I can afford is one that uses gas. You go to rural areas you have people driving vehicles that are 30+ years old and they do so because they can work on them and repair them. They are not giving them up. AOC and her fans are living in a fantasy world. That is why they can do nothing but name call like C Wilson does and point to polls like Kyle does.
