  1.  @crimsonwolf3421  studies and Worldometer. This virus is not that dangerous. A recent Penn State study suggests that early infection numbers were 80 times higher than what was being presented. That means that in March NY alone had over 5 million cases. It spreads fast but the survival rate is well over 99%.

  3.  @memebump7612  you can't just throw out numbers without any kind if perspective. Up to 650,000 die from the flu a year and that is with a shot. Even with a flu shot around 60,000 die in the US with it. This virus is not that dangerous. The numbers and studies indicate that.

Dr. Fauci has the chance of a lifetime to communicate science to the people giving scenarios that are both positive and negative. Instead he just fear mongers. That divides us into two camps. Those that do not listen to him as they feel this virus is not that dangerous, and those who are freaking out. That is why there is a divide in the mask situation. I will be completely on board with what we are doing if we are told the full story.

  9.  @mehdihatami3391  part of the full story is the idea that herd immunity is being met. Look at states like RI, NY, NJ, etc., their 7 day average of new cases has dropped a lot. States like FL, AZ, NV, TX, etc. are reaching their peaks by my numbers. That means the spread is going to be less. There is evidence that many more than what is being recorded had the virus. That means it is not that deadly. However, to add, yes, over 100,000 have died from it and we have to be careful. I feel herd immunity will be met by mid fall and we can get back to normal.
