That is your fault. Welcome to life. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

Amazing Renegade, you don't need to go to college to become educated. You go to college to develop skills and connections to get a job. That is his fault for not doing that. If you earn a college degree and can't get a job you made a mistake in life.
4
Bernie deserved to be mocked as he attached rich people but is rich himself. They are attacking AOC because this is the first time in her life that she has to work. Reality is hitting her hard. She quit her job to become a congress person and now she is realizing that you have to make sacrifices in life to succeed.
4
Christopher, she has no experience and has no clue on the issues. This is the first time she is actually facing reality. She quit her job to run and won but now realizes that in doing so she will not have money for a few months. That's life. That is how people become successful. They take a few steps back for long term success. She doesn't realize that. She was a bartender who just stumbled on a job and now is being exposed. She is a joke.
3
She quit her job to run for congress and now says she has no money. This girl is a joke.
2
Doctor Doom, one can read books and learn about a subject. I agree education and skills do go hand in hand, but you can become educated and have not skills. That is my point. If you go to college to simply earn an education you are wasting your time. You should go to develop a skill and develop connections. Look at the difference between K-12 schooling and college. In high school you spend around 7 hours a day in school 5 days a week. In college you spend around 1/3 of the time in a classroom and cover twice the material. In college the responsibility is on you to work outside of the classroom.
2
Black Star, a larger population means a larger diversity. It means people who act different, have different levels of education an intelligence, work ethics, economies, etc. Compare Utah to NV, two neighboring states with completely different cultures. What works in Utah will not work in NV. Even looking at Nordic nations they all do something different. It isn't as simple as "government can do this federally" as one size fits all programs don't work.
2
Anthony Lalama, people can attack the substance of what AOC says. She lives in a fantasy world where her ideas are easily debunked. But with how dumb she sounds it is much easier to just make fun of that. Her ideas are not correct and she has no clue how to implement them.
2
Cortez has never faced reality. She was a bartender that quit her job to run for Congress and then won. She is not prepared for any of this. In life to be successful you have to make sacrifices. In her case she will have to go without an apartment for a while. She can sleep in her DC office like many Republicans do. But what is really sad is that she is 29 and now starting to realize that life is actual work and that is why many people hate her socialist ideas.
2
TwrexFTW, she is childish because in life to be successful you have to make sacrifices. Her sacrifice was quitting her job to run. Now she has no money. She can sleep in her DC office until she gets a paycheck. That's life. I know of a very successful lawyer who stayed with three other people in a two bedroom apartment during law school. I am a grad student who works 12 hours a day and have another part time job to earn money. I am one of the more successful students in my field. She is being a child because she is facing reality. Maybe this will teach her why so many hate socialism.
2
Ivory, that is true. AOC simply woke up one day and decided to run for Congress in a very deep blue area. She won. I am actually Ok with her winning because it creates joke situations like these. She is going to be a joke in Congress.
2
Aeron L, if Buffet wants to pay more in taxes he can pay himself more. He pays himself around $100,000 a year.
2
Atheos, working as a bartender is not working. I mean an actual job with responsibilities.
2
meg50, if I worked 40 hours a week digging holes in a desert that is not is not a job. Bartending is not working. You don't even need a high school diploma to do it.
2
Brian Tan, I have. It is not stressful. If it is stressful to you than you have never faced real adversity.
2
Many politicians sleep in their DC office.
1
You laugh at us because you are projecting.
1
Until your country has 320+ million people you have no room to talk.
1
Anthony, AOC is a joke. I can provide evidence why. When you say that unemployment is low because people have two jobs that is sad.
1
Anthony, she made a statement that would have the US having a population of over 500 million people. Go to the youtube channel "Don't Walk, Run! Productions" and look at his videos on AOC. They show how stupid she really is.
1
The best video of his is where he shows often she says "I think" in interviews.
1
Actual working class people are laughing at her. This is something Kyle does not understand. People view her as a joke.
1
@stratecaster547 , managing a $500,000 laser set up. Having professors and other grad students scrutinize you. Being reliable for college students' grades and their scholarships. That just scratches the surface. Never mind that I am an official in a sport and I am responsible for a college team making the playoffs and am reliable for if a coach keeps a job or not depending on my calls.
1
@Minoltalphafan , Bernie is rich. When he lost the election he released a book and made a million off of it. Instead of releasing it for free he charged people for it. Instead of giving the money to charity he pocketed it. Fact is Bernie only cares about himself.
1
meg50 , driving a forklift requires skills and safety requirements. Serving drinks don't.
1
@jackieandrea , not really. In my line of work I have to problem solve and keep up with current events. I am reading constantly to see other research projects that are being done. Being a bartender does not involve massive problem solving. It does not involve keeping up with current events. You don't have to read many books and publications to keep up with current research to be a bartender. That is the point. Being a bartender is low skill, low responsibilities, low criticism, minimal work, etc. I find it amazing how ignorant people are on this issue. Apparently working at a bartender is the same as working in Congress which means writing and passing laws, deciding what happens to people's tax dollars, keeping up with current events in order to pass policies to keep a country successful, etc. I guess screw college, I should have been a bartender and then jump to working in congress.
1
@Alsatiagent , Bernie comes from a small state that is mostly white with no problems. In Congress Bernie is considered a joke. That is why republican candidates laughed when his name was brought up during the Republican presidential debate. AOC is 28 and was a bartender. She does not work hard. She had a college degree and became a bartender. That is being lazy.
1
meg50 , what opinions of mine are stupid? I justify all I say. Being a bartender is nowhere near the level of working in Congress. Being a bartender does not require major problem solving, reading and keep up with current times and research, managing a major budget, being scrutinized by experts, etc. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe AOC was constantly reading publications on the recent research related to being a bartender and she was being scrutinized by people with a PhD in bartending.
1
@zidneya , Bernie only cares about himself. He loses the election, writes a book and make millions. Instead of posting the book for free or donating the money to charity he pocketed it. He also bought a third home as well. I love how people feel that Bernie cares about them when he clearly doesn't.
1
A Gott , Bernie pays a lower tax rate than most people. Look at his tax return that was released. Writing a book and earning money from it while complaining about rich people does mean you only care about yourself. He could have posted the book free online or donated the money to charity. He doesn't. Why didn't he post the book online for free? If he wants to spread the message he can do that. I am not opposed to him earning money, I want him to do actual work. He doesn't. He just goes on stage and rants about rich people and pushes policies to raise taxes and give to others. That is not actual work. What has Bernie done? Has he started businesses that gave people jobs and wealth? Has he ran charities? Has he donated to charities? Has he worked with others to improve people's lives? No. He sales a book, pockets the money, buys a third home and complains about wealth inequality. Meanwhile the Trump family ran actual charities for children's hospitals.
1
Lord Crimsiden, define a "fair wage". Right now Bernie pays zero dollars in wages. For as bad as the Walton family may be at least they gave people jobs. Bernie doesn't. But yep, Bernie is the good one in this case and the Walton family are the bad people.
1
So he supports teachers who strike as opposed to those who teach?
1
Zidneya, C Wilson has nothing but attacks on the messenger. Have you read his comments? If so why don't you hold him to the same standard? Oh, that's right, he is on your team.
1
C Wilson, one liners are not debunking anything. That is why you resort to insults, you can't actually give a counter argument.
1
Jojoboi, you have to have staffers as a congress member. Also, it isn't about paying for others. It is about responsibilities and taking risks and making sacrifices. Bernie has never done any of that. He stole electricity from his neighbor though.
1
Ryan, what's your point?
1
C Wilson, so me coming to this channel is me going to a safe space? How about you try to engage in an actual conversation for once as opposed to giving out insults. Oh, wait, you can't. Moving on.
1
Patricia, I don't resort to name calling unless the other person does it first.
1
C Wilson, please draw a chart. As for bartending being considered a job than by that standard digging holes in the desert is a job. These issues are complex and the point is that being a bartender is low skilled, low responsibility and nowhere near the level of what being a Congress member is. But you wouldn't understand that as you don't care to learn. You rather remain stupid and dish out childish insults and run to you safe space.
1
Particia, being a bartender dose not require a high level of problem solving, or require that one keeps up with the research, or high level of schooling, etc. It is a low skilled job. Compare it to this. AOC is going from bartending to being a member of congress. That is similar to going from high school algebra to a graduate level math course like topology or modern algebra.
1
B noza, I am more than a TA. I am an RA as well. I am one of the top students in my department.
1
C Wilson, you are moving the goal posts. You can never engage in an intelligent conversation, that is why you go to insults. But thanks for proving my point that being a bartender is nowhere near as challenging as working in Congress and agreeing that AOC does not have experience. Thanks for playing!
1
meg50, being a bartender is nothing compared to working in Congress, that is the point. That is like saying you passed high school Calculus thus you are a mathematical genius. You aren't.
1
C Wilson , you made many accusations towards me. That is why I don't take you serious. I come here to have an intelligent discussion on these issues where you just do character attacks. Why? Because you have no argument. You just call others names. You are irrelevant at this point. Move aside and let the adults talk here. Trump was a very successful businessman who had to work with many people and was scrutinized. He has a lot of experience to become president and based on his success so far it is easy to see that.
1
meg50 , I want intelligent people who understand the issues. AOC clearly is not that. She lacks experience and she is going to get destroyed in Congress.
1
@zidneya , he never proved anything. He literally gives nothing but insults.
1
C Wilson , I seemed to have angered you. Who cares about the bankruptcy of Trump? With success comes failure. That is why he has experience. Mariano Rivera blew a save in game 7 of the World Series in 2001, does that mean he sucks as a closer? No because he has had a lot of success. But by your standard he does. Also, you never met me but accused me of many things as well. But when I do it to you then you get all mad. Seems like you can dish it but can't take it. You know, if you can't stand the heat than get out of the kitchen.
1
meg50 , she is making a huge jump. As I said this is similar to going from a high school Algebra course where she will learn the quadratic equation to a graduate level modern algebra course where she will have to study Galois theory. It is not going to go well. Trump has had a lot of success so far as president. Our economy is doing well. You have low unemployment and worker participation is stagnate where for years it has been dropping. That means more people are looking for jobs. Initial claims are down, wages are up and the Federal Reserve is looking to raise interest rates for a third time this year something that has never happened under Obama. That is because the economy is growing fast. His tax cuts were there to stimulate growth. A larger economy means more tax revenue. As for Paul Ryan, Pelosi and other politicians. Most of our politicians are very intelligent. They are politicians. You can call them corrupt, deceptive, greedy, etc., but they are very intelligent. AOC isn't and she proves it in her interviews.
1
meg50 , I give lots of facts.
1
@zidneya , also, by your standard, someone who passed high school algebra is highly experienced in math.
1
C Wilson , also, I am not crying. I find it funny how you continue to insult me while hiding in your safe space. How about you try to engage in an actual conversation for once in your life. Challenge yourself.
1
Zidneya, that does not refute me. My point was that she did not have a job to prepare her to work in Congress. Based on your standard someone who mowed lawns as a kid can work in Congress. Mixing drinks to drunks who you can kick out with help of security is not stressful. So what you said does not refute me unless you have low standards. In fact, it is all clear now. You have such low standards that you keep them for yourself, that is why you support someone as dumb as AOC. You love to keep your standards low.
1
Molue, it isn't about having people to boss around. It is about being responsible for other people's well being and having to problem solve. It is also about having a job that is very dynamic and changing where you have to keep reading to keep up. In fact, you don't have to boss people around to have a job that requires a lot of skills and problem solving, but you, being as shallow as you are, view it that way. Take a doctor, for example. They have to constantly keep up with current research related to healthcare. They have to problem solve a lot. But how many people do they boss around? Not many. Really, you are showing how shallow and how low of standards the ultra left has. AOC is going to get challenged, she is not going to be able to handle herself and people are just going to dismiss her.
1
I didn't know that AOC spent hours reading publications and books related to the art and science of being a bartender. I didn't know that, as a bartender, AOC had to solve major problems that only a small percentage in the world can do. I did not know that AOC wrote many publications on the science of being a bartender.
1
C Wilson, I seems to have triggered you. You say I give misleading facts but never say how nor give a rebuttal yourself. You just make a one line comment and then call me a bitch and run to your safe space. As for your other comments, all successful people fail. Disney was denied a job for not being creative enough. Michael Jordon did not make his high school team originally in basketball. According to you someone has to be 100% perfect or they are a failure. Bernie Sanders stole electricity from his neighbor. As for KS, they are around average in economic growth so as a whole they are fine. The state of Washington is very tax friendly for the rich and they have a strong economy. Same with TX. CA has high taxes and the highest poverty rate. The state of Connecticut has high taxes and a poor economy, but go ahead an cherry pick KS who is not doing bad overall. As for the sex toys sells, what happened was a business did not pay their taxes so the government seized the property to auction it off which is common. They gave the items back to the company as long as they auctioned it off and used the money to pay for the taxes they owned. And you claim that I give deceptive facts?
1
C Wilson, so there is a difference between being a "fuckup" and a "failuire"? Also, you never gave a rebuttal on the KS issue. But whatever, go ahead and name call and hide in your safe space.
1
Beats One, most rich people are there because of hard work.
1
Abe, Trump is very intelligent. He at least knows how unemployment is calculated.
